About
High Point Golf Club is a public course in Montague that has been around since 1966. The course has since undergone major renovations but it still retains the original character of the design. The layout is routed between two massive, sparkling lakes. You won't find any parallel holes on this golf course, it provides plenty of space so you don't have to worry about errant drives. High Point is seemingly mild, but don't be fooled by the traditional 6,783-yard layout. There is a surprising amount of bite to this golf course. Each hole presents a unique challenge but what they have in common are the rolling fairways that are subtly contoured. They leave for some difficult and creative approaches. In addition to the golf course, High Point also has a driving range available as well as putting and chipping greens.

Good Day
Bunkers in need of of maintenance but the rest of the course was great for this early in the season
Like the course and worth the trip
We have played here several times over the last few years and really like it.
The holes are challenging and space apart through a condo community. There are a lot of blind holes and sloping greens so it is a lot of fun. You can't walk the course because of the distance but the pace of play was very good.
My only gripe (and the reason i took off a star) is because the tee boxes are horrible. it doesn't look like they are working on improving them either. It's a shame to see bad tees, you can find good footing and it is so early in the season.
No matter. We like this course and will return.

Course was in good shape for a November round. Felt like I was in PA and not NJ. Other than two quirky holes, the holes weee varied, and made you use every club in the bag. Great value for the price. Better yet - we saw a bear and my son missed a hole in one by 1 ff.
Great Course
This is my third time playing this track. It’s great. I love it. It’s so challenging. All the water hazards. The crazy layout. My only complaint is that they overbook. The pace of play is horrible. They did have a Marshall out there today. It helped a little. He was just to late. Aside from that. I love it. I wish it was closer to me. It’s 45 min away. But it doesn’t matter.
