Great course to practice for other big courses and league play
Sure glad for drought as course is usually a swamp but sure wish they wouldn’t have drenched greens with sprinklers as it gave inconsistent on speed
Horrible Course
Course was in bad shape. Slow paced round with destroyed tee boxes and fairways.
Course is a Dump
Course is in.horrible condition. Tee boxes are all dirt and fairways had Monday grass. Had to wait 25 minutes for a cart to become available.
Enjoying golf in nice surroundings
The course is well maintained and the atmosphere is very down to earth. Staff and players are friendly and patient. The course lays in a beautiful part of Milford.
Great course for beginners
Great course and friendly staff also not feeling rushed or pressured to keep up so I’ll definitely will be back regularly
Great time
As a beginner I enjoyed everything about my day at the course from the initial interaction at check in to the work through about the course I will be going back for a stress less day of golf 2 thumbs up
Just hasn’t been watered , fairways like cement , greens are decently kept
Easily my summer favorite
staff are incredibly friendly, course is nice greens are well maintained, one of the best parts is being able to drive your cart anywhere you want!
Golf fun in Milford
A nice course with friendly staff, holes where maintained very good and despite the rain the day before it was still good to play
Fun 9-holer.
Picturesque 9-holer in the tri-state area. No bunkers, some water. Greens are well maintained, fairways are a work-in-progress.
Consistency
Always a good round of golf at Great Gorge… The course is always in good shape…
Fun course…
A fun course to play - they don’t claim to be resort like, it is what it is, a fun place to play. A very low key experience. If you are looking to get out and play a round or practice, this is your place. If you are looking for a competition course, go pay a hundred dollars more and play there…
Very satisfied!
Pace of Play
Be patient, be courteous and be realistic. This is a 9 hole course which means the line at the first tee box can get backed with groups on their first hole and those on their 10th - be patient. When things are backed up like that, you don't have to hit your perfect shot, or anything even remotely like it, hit your shot and move along - be courteous. If you can't hit the group in front of you without a strong tail wind and and act of God, just go ahead and take your shot - be realistic. If everyone does their best to keep the round moving, it's more enjoyable for all!
