Opened in 1916 as a nine-hole course, Fostoria Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in northwest Ohio. It has seen many changes over the years but through it all, the course has become one of the area's finest public venues, boasting some of the best greens you'll find in northwest Ohio. One of the biggest changes to the golf course occurred in 1971 when Ohio native Jack Kidwell redesigned and expanded the layout to a full 18 holes. The course will test you with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, which include a meandering creek that cuts across three different fairways. The narrow, tree-lined fairways will further test your accuracy. Though Fostoria Golf Club dates back to the turn of the century, the amenities are completely modern, most notably the GPS-equipped golf carts that provide precise distance information.

Great Greens
The Greens were great, fairways were nice even with a lot of rain the day before. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful People
We had a great time here from the very beginning. The woman who checked us in and got our cart was just wonderful and made us feel welcome. She gave us the option of going off early with the warning that we would likely catch up to the groups ahead and it would slow for a bit. She was right, but it opened up on the back side. Greens were in great shape and fairways were green. Will definitely play this course again next time we come to visit our daughter.
Awesome course to play
This course was in excellent condition and a great one to play. You get more than your money’s worth. The staff there is super respectful. The grounds crew was out working and when I got to the hole they respectfully stopped and have me more than enough space to play. Would definitely recommend
Great old style course, greens in excellent condition. Just an enjoyable 18 holes of golf!!
Great course, but...
The golf course was in great condition. The layout is fun with lots of character. But the pace of play was glacial. No ranger to keep things moving, and two obvious novices with no understanding of golf etiquette kept things at a snail's pace for the entire eighteen holes.
