Fostoria Country Club

About
Opened in 1916 as a nine-hole course, Fostoria Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in northwest Ohio. It has seen many changes over the years but through it all, the course has become one of the area's finest public venues, boasting some of the best greens you'll find in northwest Ohio. One of the biggest changes to the golf course occurred in 1971 when Ohio native Jack Kidwell redesigned and expanded the layout to a full 18 holes. The course will test you with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, which include a meandering creek that cuts across three different fairways. The narrow, tree-lined fairways will further test your accuracy. Though Fostoria Golf Club dates back to the turn of the century, the amenities are completely modern, most notably the GPS-equipped golf carts that provide precise distance information.

Nice course.
We play here quite often. Great course. Great experience.
Fun course
Overall nice course. Each hole really does change..
Open layout for high handicappers
Unfortunately, I have not mastered this game. I am a high handicapper that was looking for a course that would give me a chance to work ion multiple aspects of my game. The course fit the bill. Plus, the Hot Deal price was wonderful. I will play the course again.

Professional and personal attention
My son and I were treated with respect and management was very encouraging!
Great course!
Very well kept up course. Mowed just right throughout. Enjoy very much.
Good Value
This course was fun to play, it was the first time we played it so we had a little trouble with getting to the first hole. The first few holes are not very scenic, grain elevators and a heavy traveled road and train noise. After turning away from that, about the 4th hole, then it wasn't too bad. It is a former Country Club, so the greens were top notch, the fairways were very good, Tee boxes were fair. It does need some sprucing up. There were weeds in the a flower areas around the course, the bunkers were in poor shape and did not have rakes.
Very Enjoyable.....Again!
My wife was ready to play for the first time this year so we went to FCC.
We BOTH were very pleased with the conditions and the round we played!
Thanks for taking pride in your course FCC team!
Fostoria country club
Enjoyed playing the course and will play it again.
Great Value
Great value and very friendly staff. Course is not as challenging as most courses.
nice round
I had a nice round yesterday at The Fostoria Country Club. The course was in good condition even with some work being done out on the course. The fairways were nice and the greens were receptive, but relatively quick when putting compared to similar courses around the area. For the money, it was a great value!
very well kept
for all the rain we have had, the course was. owners and staff A-1 very good. really enjoyed the round. On line fees are a killer.
Nice Gem
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice a course this was for its location. The fairways and greens were well manicured and very nice to play on. We would recommend this course for that reason as well as for the price.
Nice course!
It was a nice course besides it's being a little wet from the night before but there was an awful smell from one of the neighboring plants in which would only stick with you for the first couple holes on the front 9
Great shape and good challenge
Course was better than i remember it from years ago...great shape, plenty of challenge....nice course indeed, and i will surely be back to play it again.
Good course for the money
This is a good course at a good price. The greens and fairways are almost always in good condition and it offers up some challenging holes.
come to fo town & play the country club..
Course was a little wet no roll plugged balls greens were nice to putt..no waiting has a nice layout I play it only 5 times a year great personnel fair rates.. Will u please not charge me online fees I've used golfnow for years I had qualified last yr but had to cancel one time my wife got sick..so I was 1 tee time short..if not I 'll be lookin elsewhere to make online tee times sorry and thanks...
Nice greens
The 1st hole was very easy and the other 17 were challenging almost makes you think the rest of the course will be easy but not the case. Challenging and fun, could do without the factory and the loud steam whistle coming from it on the 1st hole and a few others makes it very distracting and annoying but still enjoyed the course in general.
