Red/Blue at Ramblewood Country Club
About
For more than half a century, Ramblewood Country Club has been one of the top public golf courses in southern New Jersey. The club offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played as three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course starts with one of the original nines from 1962, while the back nine was added 10 years later. The Red nine has large, subtly undulating greens bordered by strategically placed bunkers. Be prepared for a few forced carries over water. The challenges are nicely balanced with forgiving fairways that have generous landing areas. The Blue nine is an interesting contrast to the front of the golf course. It's routed through mature pine forests and it has tighter fairways though the greens are just as undulating as the Red, making course management the key to scoring well.

Short changed
Booked 18 hole to walk the course. When I got to the course they told me that they had two outtings going on and i could only play 9 holes. They proceeded to charge me the same fee for 9 that I booked for 18. I received no apology only an excuse that the info on golf now was not being communicated properly with the course. I will not go back to Ramblewood and quite frankly I am not to happy with GOLFNOW at this point
Great value from Golfnow
Played as a single but paired up with another fine gentleman. Course is in excellent condition, greens in great shape. Finished in 3:15 following a foursome in front of us. Staff was friendly.
Good value, friendly staff, fine courses
It is easy to see why many people like Ramblewood! Most of the time you can easily manage the course and have a rewarding experience and fun round. Overall the course is in good condition with tee boxes that match your skill level, greens are generous and bunkered. Bunkers are a bit inconsistent with either generous or skimpy sand conditions ... This gives you choices in how to play your shot and is consistent with other courses in the area. Two par fives on the Blue course require accurate shots as they are tree lined. I always enjoy playing there and the staff is helpful and considerate. Enjoy your round!
Enjoyed the course
Great last minute 9 with friends. The blue course offered some challenges and the course was in good condition. Will definitely be back!

it would have been nice if they told us the greens were just airraided.
surprise,
when I checked in I discovered that the hot t time deal was more than what the course charged, the first nine was aerated and top dressed and that wasn t mentioned on the golf now course page, and once again I want to express my displeasure with golf now discontinuing the discount on fees after booking ten rounds as was the policy.
Just okay today
Greens aerated and holes were so large that putting was a joke. They announced cart path only a few times before we went out which is fine but a four-hour round (4 players) caused us to get 2 "speed it up fellas" from a ranger.
I get it's a Saturday morning but we were four golfers. Two lefties and two righties that played both sides of the fairway. 4 hours is not bad for cart path only golf. The foursome behind us never waited as we teed off on any hole.
I know it's early in the season but they need to get it together.
Early in season needs a little work
I had fun I played with three other guys that I did not know they'turned out to be great. The course needs a little work but it's early in the season. Overall it was pretty good
Nice Surprise
Nice course. For the area, it has a good amount of length to it (6800). greens rolled pretty well especially for the winter. I liked the layout, each nine that I played had its own character to it and its own set of challenges. I would definitely play here again. I would also like to see how it plays during the summer.
December golf
With good weather in the winter comes slow play. Patience is needed to get through a round anywhere.
the course was in great condition
It was in such good shape I am thinking about becoming a member
Had a good game
Was dismayed that I had to share a cart. Last time i played this wasn't the case - guess the day was busy.
But had a good pairing and enjoyed the round.
Good Value
First time plying this course and we were pleasantly surprised. Initially, we thought it would not be good because it was not what we were used to ( no bag drop, no water and ice machine, porta pots). However, the course was well maintained and it was a friendly course. We had a good time. Just wish I could say the same about my game!
Ramblewood
I have played at this golf course 2 times before this but it was night golf - this is the first I played 18 holes
during the day - we were a pair who got paired up with these 2 nice gentleman - the weather was nice as were the greens - not crowded so easily played without interruption
Nice Course great staff
Worth the trip and a nice variety of holes. The staff is very friendly and its normally fair from a price stand point.
Great Day, Great Course
First time playing, I enjoyed the size of the course and how each one was a little different. I would go back.
RAMBLEWOOD
Great course. You need to play this course. Do not miss this course
Nothing fancy, but nice enough
There are no holes that will leave a lasting impression on you, but the course is nice enough and convenient. The blue course is tighter and more interesting than the other two.
Great course for just starting to play the game
It was one of my first times out i love this course
Slicer
First time playing course. Played white & blue. Course was ok but don't think I'll be playing again any time soon.
