White/Blue at Ramblewood Country Club

About
Ramblewood Country Club is one of the Delaware Valley's must-play golf destinations. The club offers 27 holes of championship golf, which means there are three different 18-hole combinations to choose from. The holes are divided into the Red, White, and Blue nines. The White/Blue Course begins with one of the original nines. The front half of the golf course has large greens with subtle but tricky undulations. There are also strategically placed bunkers and water coming into play throughout. You can expect some challenging holes, including a few forced carries over water, but the course is tempered by forgiving fairways that have generous landing areas. The back nine is much tighter than the front with mature pine trees framing most of the holes. Course management is the key to doing well on Ramblewood's Blue nine.

Good course
Tees and Fairways are in excellent condition. Greens have been recently aerated. They are hard, but all things considered in reasonably good condition. Most courses at this time are probably starting to aerate. Pace of play was excellent. The course is pretty wide open. Greens are well defended by bunkers which will create some challenges.
Fun Round on a Beautiful Day
I thoroughly enjoyed the layout. The fairways were a little beat up but the greens were in good shape. The starter was accommodating and got us started pretty quick. The course was busy and backed up quite a bit but it was Saturday afternoon. I would play here again and would recommend the course.
We played the Blue 9 then the White 9
Everything was fine
Course was in good shape and nothing to complain about there. White/Red combination did not have the most imaginative holes.
Overall a good experience playing at Ramblewood this week… Noticed that the greens were cut high and slow, which I understand a lot of courses do in the heat of the summer.. no big deal.. wish this course would reinstall water and cups at various holes on the course during the summer and heat. I don’t understand why courses did not bring the water back, after pandemic, they make you pay for water if there is a cart girl, which is a drag.. I would like to play the BLUE COURSE which seems impossible the last few times I’ve played. I don’t know the reason, but the pro shop always steers us to the red and white courses.
Good
Course was in good shape. Pace of play was good. Overall a nice experience.
Solid course
Little pricey but overall worth it. Nice course layout and conditions despite recent rain. Well maintained and cart girl came out early Sat morning.
Nice walk
Nice walk
Nice and flat
Nice course, good condition
Nice staff
Busy place with 3 nines
Keep the ball on the generous fairways, you'll do fine.
Recent fixes are apparent
Ole' Jaws and his people have spent money on upgrading and updating the course and it shows. I know the removed the pool and hopefully a driving range is in the future. But the course updates are very good. It is nice to see.
Many improvements can be seen
The three 9s have had many improvements over the years with tree removals being the most obvious. Other items like repaving most of the cart paths and addition of signage are good to see. '7' the 19th hole is a great place to unwind with a beer and a sandwich after the round.
Let's do it again
The course was in great shape. The starter set us up and we were off in no time. My twosome played with two others. After we shook off the nervousness, we were ready to rock by hole # 2. Other than the heat, I hit the ball well. I take too much risks but they pay off sometimes.lol
AWESOME
Great course, the three nines were a bit confusing as different tee boxes were for different holes and difficult to find our next one. All in all we had a great time and the course was in great shape.
Good Course, Needs to Accommodate Walkers
Played my first round at Ramblewood. Great course, I like that it has different layouts, simple enough. This course could be perfect though if they accommodated walkers. They charge the same rate for someone riding a cart as they do for a walker.. That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. If they changed that one thing they’d have my full stamp of approval for a great local course, but to me that’s a big one. Course is friendly to walkers too track wise.
