Brentwood Golf Club
About
Brentwood Golf Club in Grafton may not look like much at first but as one of the best values in the area, it has become a local favorite. It's a short course at 5,148 yards from the back tees, making it an excellent layout for beginners especially since there is very little sand and hardly any water. Long hitters may be disappointed at the lack of long par 4s and par 5s but more advanced players will find that it's great for a quick, casual round. It's a gentle golf course that any player can tackle with confidence but the subtly tricky greens provide some challenges. The approaches require a bit of strategy and accuracy doesn't hurt either though it's a very forgiving layout. Brentwood Golf Club's greens are also known for being in consistently good condition.

Great place to play!
Never had a bad experience here! For the value this course is in better condition the a lot of courses around that charge 40 or better to play at! Definitely book a tee time here and give it a shot!
Great course for the money
I play this course frequently and overall is a decent course for the money. It's a short and fairly simple track with exception of 1 or 2 holes. The course is pretty well maintained. Sometimes it gets sloppy but not ridiculous. Great course for beginners and decent players. Probably nothing to a par player. But quick and good overall
I like Brentwood
Started playing this course due to its closeness to my job. Drains well, so it is good for early season golfing. The Pro is great. He is really competitive on his pricing, several times outdoing Golf Galaxy, etc. on clubs , bags, shoes, etc. I like the course's length , and layout. It's not long, but you need to hit in the right spots..
Fun in the Sun
Course was fun and in great shape. Very enjoyable for the non pro golfer.
Unique
This course is very different from most in the area. It's only 5200 yards from the tips, but there are only about 5 holes most people could hit driver on. There are many doglegs, and most greens well protected, so position, not length, is key. The greens held very well and rolled perfectly. It was cart path only the day we played, but there were only 3-4 very soft holes. Not very busy for a Saturday. A good course to play once or twice a year for a change of pace.
Nice course
There were two of us. Pre-paid $10 a piece for 18 w/cart. Desk worker was not sure about our tee time but honored the email I brought along. The weather was perfect and the course is in good shape. Looks like the greens were aeriated about 2-3 weeks ago and were filling in nicely.
Don't get lost
Very nice course. The length and turns on some fairways, the different elevations and the water hazards help to make this a challenging course. I enjoyed the long holes most of all. Well groomed course with lots of trees and nature. Greens were big and ran true. Enjoyed the round, even though we were restricted to the car path. Some signs were down and this lead to missing a hole and back tracking, but the absence of the hole description sign #14 or #15 left us lost. Will definitely return to Brentwood.
Short but not a pansy!
This is a short course but not a pansy, you can find yourself in big trouble quickly if you don't place your shots. The greens are great ,and a 20 minute downpour made them more receptive.
Leave it to Brentwood
Where do I start.... Staff is very unfriendly, especially the starter who shook his head and sighed when I handed him my ticket. Booked a golfnow hot buy and got there to find out there was a tournament starting in 50 mins that would close holes 8-18. Everytime I go there they have some event that isn't communicated during booking and makes play and pace frustrating. Grounds crew was cutting greens and tee boxes on approaches and tee offs and didn't kill their motors during either if they even paused. I'm done giving them chances. Use your money better and go play Carlisle golf course, coppertop, or forest hills. Brentwood is too expensive for the kind of play and service you get. I will not be going back ever again.
Different but good
Played on a Saturday after an outing, but the course was in very nice shape. The greens were a little inconsistent at times, the ball would sometime skid before rolling, but overall very good. This course is super short, and needs to be played a few times because of the doglegs you need to figure out where to hit the ball. Some holes can turn into a shoot gallery as they are close together, and the clientele is not the greatest golfers. I would come back though. Great course for beginners.
Very nice little course
I really enjoyed a course with the shorter yardage and flat greens
Short but sweet
Brentwood is nice local course. Great place to take a young player learning the game. A favorite of many local women league players, and seniors. The course has some interesting holes, and a few boring ones. The greens are small, and fairly flat, but usually in very nice shape, if a tad on the slow side.
Low handicappers might want to skip this one, but for the mid to high handicappers, this course has plenty to offer.
Good shape for considering the monsoons in NE Ohio
Only thing that was wrong with this July 4th weekend round was the jack wagons behind is wanting to play in record time and hitting into us the first several holes. Pushing us the whole time. IMO, course workers should not play on holidays - save those for after hours.
Excellent Condition/ Great Value
Course was near perfect in condition. Course is fairly short, good course for some extra short iron practice. Greens were in great condition and the pro was very friendly.
Great Greens!
All the grass on this course is beautifully maintained, but the greens are exceptional. Quick, but not ridiculous, and true. A pleasure to putt.
Value Course
Fairly easy couse, some holes had blind shots. Lots of dog legs and poor yardage markings. Greens were in very good shape and were true.

I play this course several times a year. Flat, playable, short, very well maintained. Greens are quick and consistent, not "fast". Friendly staff. Priced right. Would not recommend this course for the working stiff that wants to get 9 in after work. They lock up the carts at 5:30pm. Understood. Lots of leagues and many retired folks (God bless em'!). A local HS team calls this home in the fall. Try this on the weekend or week day. Nothing about this course is 5 stars.
Well kept and nice people working there.
I enjoyed the course. Not too crowded , beautiful weather, just enough challenge.
