Brentwood Golf Club
About
Brentwood Golf Club in Grafton may not look like much at first but as one of the best values in the area, it has become a local favorite. It's a short course at 5,148 yards from the back tees, making it an excellent layout for beginners especially since there is very little sand and hardly any water. Long hitters may be disappointed at the lack of long par 4s and par 5s but more advanced players will find that it's great for a quick, casual round. It's a gentle golf course that any player can tackle with confidence but the subtly tricky greens provide some challenges. The approaches require a bit of strategy and accuracy doesn't hurt either though it's a very forgiving layout. Brentwood Golf Club's greens are also known for being in consistently good condition.

Brentwood
The course itself looked great. It just needed more visible yardage markers or not enforce the 90 degree rule on a warm sunny day. I ordered my tee time from golfnow and the one employee was trying to say that their not honoring golfnow tee times. They let us play but the golf carts were terrible. One cart was dirty and and the tires were low. The other cart got a flat tire while driving on the cart path. Better signs are needed or a scorecard that shows the layout of the holes.
Fun place to play
This is a golf course only. If you're looking for fine dining or a great pro shop go elsewhere. But the course is in great shape. There are a couple of very challenging holes but most allow you to recover from an errant shot. The greens are top notch and the fairways are in great shape. The rain has created some mushy spots but take a drop.
Good course nice greens
Why put trees in the middle of fairways I"ll never understand but had a great time
Nice Course for the Money
I am a local and play Brentwood often. It isn't a super difficult course, but it is very well-kept and affordable to play. On this day we teed off at noon for 18 with a cart through GolfNow (paid just $10) and were done at 3 pm.
Greens are fast, fairways cut in nicely and rough is trim but clearly a different height than fairways. It's a good place to go out and play a quick round.
ok
Very short course. Lots of obstacles. No yardage markers. Hard to figure out the distance.
Excellent Day
Played the Front 9 twice, since I am not a fan of the back. Easy course, but it good shape, with a really nice owner.
Nice price but too tight
Front nine is nicely laid out, but the back nine has been squeezed to fit. It also did not help that our best deal came at a time when there was an outing scheduled. Very chaotic.
Needs customer service
My 3-some was making the turn & the starter sent 4 groups of a women's league off the back 9 as we started the 9th hole. We had no one in front of us the entire day & were making good time. When I asked him why he did that, his response was, "I don't know. I should've sent you off the back 9 this morning. They're here early so I let them go out. Why don't you just go a few holes ahead of them & come back & play the holes that you skipped later."
So, basically, he admitted that he doesn't know what he's doing & that we can do whatever we want. We had to jump all the way to 14 and then follow 3 groups...then after 18, we had to jump in front of another group to finish the round.
I won't be back anytime soon. And I don't recommend it to anyone.
Short, Not too Difficult, Excellent Greens, Great condition overall
I play here once a week and have found this course to be in great condition. It is not a long course. You can have opportunity of birdie in 9 out of 18 holes. I would recommend any one to play here.
