About
Brentwood Golf Club in Grafton may not look like much at first but as one of the best values in the area, it has become a local favorite. It's a short course at 5,148 yards from the back tees, making it an excellent layout for beginners especially since there is very little sand and hardly any water. Long hitters may be disappointed at the lack of long par 4s and par 5s but more advanced players will find that it's great for a quick, casual round. It's a gentle golf course that any player can tackle with confidence but the subtly tricky greens provide some challenges. The approaches require a bit of strategy and accuracy doesn't hurt either though it's a very forgiving layout. Brentwood Golf Club's greens are also known for being in consistently good condition.

Terrible greens
These greens are abysmal… if you enjoy the game of golf at a higher level don’t even try to putt these greens. The cups are never replaced by the looks of it. On 17 of the 18 greens there were no remnants of a previous cup location. The front layout is decent the back 9 feels like they took a 9 hole course and added to it. A few of the tee boxes are concrete slabs with turf put on top of it.
Overall, the course was a really good time with my higher handicap friends. If you’re looking for a competitive game, look elsewhere.
Great time
I had a wonderful time on this course. Sure, it does play shorter than other courses, but it challenges you to play your clubs correctly. Although it hasn't rained in 2 weeks, there was still plenty of green for as dry as it has been. I would definitely recommend coming back and I would recommend anyone play the course.
Really Slow, Really Rough Shape
I've played here a lot, though not at all in the last 10 years. It's sad to see the shape the course is in. Tee boxes that lack a single blade of grass on them. Greens that feel like a sponge.
It's cheap and easy, which also means it's a good course for a lot of beginners. That also means the pace of play is really slow. I'd played 18 here in about 3.5 hours before, so to finish 9 holes in 2:45 was really rough, and we walked off the course at the turn as a result. Staff doesn't seem to want to be bothered to be helpful in any way. It's only a matter of time this property becomes just another housing development, because nobody seems to care.
Perfect beginner course
Greens were a bit beat up, but loved this course as a beginner course to work on my game. Cheap and friendly staff! Cant beat the price for what you get.
Bang for your buck
Pretty forgiving course, Thursdays are league nights though so if you want to play fast, Thursday isn’t the day for it. Other than that I don’t have anything nad to say for the price.
Won’t be coming back here
This course was terrible. Weeds, divots, bugs and tore up greens made our experience miserable. Not to mention the trashy clientele. This course used to be a nice course (12 years ago). What a shame! We will not be back. Don’t waste your money.
Great Value
Can’t beat the price these days. One of the few places you can still ride 18 holes under 30 dollars when most courses are charging twice as much if you’re lucky. Can’t beat a solo trip if your working in your game and have time to hit an extra ball here and there and dial those wedges in 🔥
GREAT STAFF Brentwood
Absolutely great staff at Brentwood Golf Club in Grafton.
We try to focus on being an inclusive golf course - to call our “clientele trashy” is unfair. Also the fact- we can’t control who chooses to come golf at Brentwood and we don’t turn business away based on looks or our perceptions of people. . We are not going for an unwelcoming atmosphere. Interesting enough- 12 years ago there weren’t half as many updates around the course or the clubhouse as there are today, including a more positive clubhouse staff.
