Potter's Park Golf Course
About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

Improved course
The staff has really worked hard to combat the wet weather conditions that the course has suffered recently. I last played in April and I know they were somewhat under water with all the rain. Today's game was dry and the course was beautiful.
Course conditions
Been golfing here for 15 years. The price has gone up about 6 dollars last 2 years. The course was in the worst shape I've ever had seen. Wont go back until they put money back into the course. Had fun cause I was with my friends....Plus the grill was not on and I was craving a hot dog.......My friends are the best. But we were missing one. He was having fun with other people. He hit The bandits trans am last week. OUT
Remember the old days?
I can still remember the old days when the fifth seventh and eighth holes all had giant oak trees guarding approach shots that weren't in the center of the green. Back then this course played a lot harder, although this is still a very technical course that requires accurate set up shot for low rounds. This is one of my very favorite municipal courses I will definitely be back.
Bad Experience
Took my son to this course and found it over booked, super busy with no starter to be found. We had to wait at least 20-30 minutes between holes because of the over booked and no spaces between groups. We ended up leaving after 9 holes as it took 3hrs to complete. Never comeback again -
Want money back
Rough Shap
Course is in very rough Shape. Fairways are burnt up with large dirt patches.
Very nice course, public ,but ran like a prvt course.,will come back and will recomend to friends ! shot 81 from the blues,,
Expensive for quality of course
Course is extremely short. Pace of play was very slow. As a twosome, took nearly 5.5 hours to complete the round. The course was in great shape. $36 was pricey and it was about 35 minute drive for me. I wouldn't pay more than $28 to play here
A nice challenge
I'm from Houston Texas and it's pretty flat so the changes in elevation was a special challenge for me. I enjoyed my round and will play here again when I'm in town.
good course
the course was in gr8 shape . Front 9 is good with good mix of holes and good lay out. Back 9 had chopped up lay out with a 210yd par 4 other than that ,a good course and value.
Fall golfing, very few leaves in fairways or on greens.
This course is well maintained. The greens were fast but consistent. We golfed here in early fall and the fairways and greens were virtually free of fallen tree leaves. We have lost many balls in fairways of other courses during this time of year to leaves.
Well designed course
Potter Place is a good course that is well maintained.
Best value in Ohio.
I'm new to the area and have played five or six different courses in the area. I have to say my experience at Potters Park has been the best so far.
The course was in great shape.
I have played this course numerous times over the years and it is always in great shape.I would play there anytime.
Course was in great shape.
Great course. This a course where you have to make shots, not grip it and ripit.
