Potter's Park Golf Course
About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

The course is in terrible condition faireways , tee boxes not maintained . Greens however were in great shape . Clubhouse staff was not friendly . I would not play here again .
SAD COURSE
THAT IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN THIS COURSE. TRIED TO PUT A TEE IN THE GROUND AND BROKE IT. WAS NO FAIRWAY. HARD AND HARDLY ANY GRASS.
Rough at the End of the Season
The course was beat up, specifically the tee boxes and greens, hole #8 looked like someone had taken a shovel to the center of the green, Fairways were not existent and uncut, wasn't impressed with the course
Great Greens, fairways need work
Everything around the greens was great. But the fairways were pretty patchy
Potters Park
An older course with charm! Needs some water in places but other than that, a real gem! Great Value and great for beginners to learn on as there are only par 3’s and 4’s on back 9. We really enjoyed Potters park and will play here again! Staff was friendly and amenities were great!
Great smaller course to challenge your iron game
Have played here many times this year. Greens are in great shape. Toughest hole anywhere around #9 220 yards up hill par 3. Last couple of times we have gone out early and played 18 in 2.5 hours.
Novice
We picked a perfect day to play. It wasn't very crowded, and the weather was fantastic. The course was dry, so you got a lot of bounce out of your shots. It was well irrigated around the greens. We finished in about 3 hours.
Fun course
This course has a nice old time feel with the stone bridges throughout. Several dog legs makes for fun and challenging holes. Very enjoyable.
Great Value
Lots of bang for the buck! Some fRairways are dry and burnt due to recent lightning damage to sprinkler system but green are still in good shape. The recent rain should help out a lot. Great course layout and a great value. I love the Par 4 that you can drive the green - 212 yards.
Dry but fun to play
Due to drought course was dry and balls were running
Great course layout
A couple of long par 3’s make this course more challenging but they make up for it with a drivable par 4. Course has rolling hills and mature trees. Made my first hole in one on #11 a 158 yard par 3.
An older course that I consider a hidden treasure. I certainly be back.
Good Value for the Price
Surprisingly there were several holes that had a lot of brown dead grass. With all the rain in the area in June , this seemed strange. Not sure why they were losing so many fairways. The greens though were in great shape.
Mow at Terrible Times
They mow on Sunday when the course is packed which causes backups. The mowing should be done during the week when it isn’t as busy prevent this.
Good course
Good course to play challenging greens good deals to play cheaper looking forward to playing again. Bloody Mary’s really good. Lol
