About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

My go to local course
Started playing Potter's last year and enjoyed the course so much that my golf partner and I returned 5-6 times. This year have played this course 3 times and it's always in very nice playing condition. Staff even approved a start on 10 knowing there was a back-up on 1 and no one was making the turn. Nice and appreciated. Groundskeeping crew has this course well managed and in great shape.

This is by far my favorite local course! The staff is always very nice, and the course landscaping is always very well kept up with. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!
Nice
The course is good for the average golfer. I like it to go out and practice a Driver and a wedge on most holes. Greens are fast. Fun time.
Great Course
They do a great job on maintaining the course.
Everything was in great shape. The only negative is they need new cart paths.
Hot deal
Booked the hot deal with no issues to play on a Sunday. Staff very cordial. No issues with tee time. Course in good shape and had some areas marked off due to standing water but only where needed. Grew up playing this course and definitely doing more to take care of course than in past.
Great value
Course is ready for a great season. The only negative was it was a bit wet so we were told to teeoff from in front of the tee boxes.
Affordable and challenging
The staff is was friendly and helpful. Course is well maintained even in winter.

Funky layout but challenging course!!!
The pace of play was terrible as we timed a 4some
In front of us take 9 mins on the green. Once we got around them on the back 9 the pace of play picked up.
Nice well maintained city course
Played this course 4-5 times and always find it enjoyable. There are several elevations for some holes with nice views. Course management comes into play on several holes requiring proper club selections and ball placement. Greens recently treated but in good condition overall.
Challenging course
Course in great shape. Challenging holes but short course.
