Potter's Park Golf Course
About
The City of Hamilton offers two municipal courses, the championship Twin Run Golf Course and the regulation-length Potters Golf Course. They both provide some of the most affordable rounds in the area. Although Potters is the easier of the two courses, it's still a fun layout that has become a favorite with locals. It's ideal for beginners but also great for a quick round no matter what skill level. The back nine plays especially fast. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few strategically placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes to contend with. Potters Golf Course may not be the most challenging round you've ever played but the casual atmosphere and fun layout shouldn't be overlooked. It's also conveniently located less than an hour from both Cincinnati and Dayton.

New upgrades
Recently placed this course to find nice new cart paths ! Also grounds crews working on improvements for drainage in low lying areas. This is a nice local course and glad to see the upgrades making outings for the long range future even better.
Go to local course
Play here often and find the course in good shape considering this is August and lots of play over spring and summer. I like the wide fairways and general open areas even if you hit an errant shot to another fairway. Fees are modest and course has several elevations to keep it interesting.
Grumpy
Course was in good shape. Friendly Marshall’s. Guy in pro shop was a big jerk
Chris
Nice course for beginners or practice. It is not a long course.
Short course, but worth it
I really enjoyed my first round here. Drive past it every day. I'll be back to play it again. Course is shorter than most, but has some challenging holes. Great value for the cost. Fairways and greens were all in very good condition. Greens have some challenging slopes.
Nice track
Course was in great shape from tee to green and played well. It was a busy Saturday and my only complaint was there was no ranger to monitor the pace of play as there was a group of 6 playing ahead of us and that shouldn’t be allowed
Good course
Good course, back 9 needs improvement but still good. Pace of play sucks as the hillbillies from Hamilton don't understand what pace of play is. Staff is super friendly. Wish they had a pro shop. Will be back
Great course conditions but be prepared to play on top of each other on just about every hole
Fun classic muni!
A fun break from the normal course layout. Always in shape.
Wide Open Views
Whether your hook or slice the course allows you to have an angle in on the green. Trees are minimal for obstructions. The starter has a great manner and makes you feel like your 20+ handicap feel like you’re a pro golfer. The course does lack a beverage court and large proshop but it is one of the nicest public courses in Hamilton, OH.
Much better.
I haven’t played Potters for several years because the course conditions were atrocious. They have really turned it around. The course was in great shape. Greens were quick. Staff was very friendly. Will start going back again.
