Good condition
The course was in good condition, though the landscaping/ grounds crews were all over the place mowing and blowing. Several tees had been pulled to facilitate mowing then not replaced. The Blue Course does not return to the Clubhouse when making the “Turn” at 10? This could be defined at the beginning so food and drink prep could occur prior to start of the round. Several holes do not travel into the next without a little search, there could be signage to help routes.
Pretty boring layout. Very few bunkers if any at all. Several tea shots that you can a driver, including number one which is annoying. Greens were decent but slow. Would not play again
Fair course, decent value
Certainly not a top golf course in the area, but they are trying to do upgrades. Pretty good pricing and nice staff.4-4.5 out of 10.
Better every year.
I've played this course a lot, and will play it again. It's the local public option and we'll worth the price tag. Course is in better shape than last year, but no without some issues. I'm looking forward to the added length and new tee boxes that come with it.
Greens were in good shape, fairways were alright, tee boxes need work though. It's hard to tee off when there is no place flat enough to have the ball on the same level as your feet.
Rough is deep and the greens are smaller than you might think. Great fun to play though.
Needs some work
I really like the course layout. A little long for seniors from gold tees on some par 4’s. The greens were recently aerated so very bumpy. To be honest, the cart paths are horrible at best. The LPGA is supposedly going to play an event there..going to need some major renovations to cart paths, traps and fairways to be respectable.

Nice course layout. Friendly staff. Patron were friendly as well. I was playing solo and two different times the twosomes ahead of me let me play thru.

Greens and fairways were recently plugged making conditions rough .. good layout needs TLC
Fall Play
Pace was very slow! The greens had been aeriated several weeks ago but were still very sandy and bumpy.
The fairways are in good shape.
Although the greens were aerated, they were in good shape. Highly recommend the Blue course as a challenge to anyone.
Second time around
Although conditions were kind of wet, I enjoyed my second chance at Highland Blue. A few things need addressed like tee boxes and cart paths. Could be a great course in future.
Birthday 18 Solo was Awesome
Went and played 18 by myself for bday and had a blast! Next time, I'll walk instead of ride (once I get a better bag lol).
Excellent staff and cost
Austin was absolutely wonderful assisting me with an online Golfnow issue. Everything was great overall. The one area that could use improvement is the maintenance of the greens on the Blue course. I'll definitely be back..
poor course
course has 36 holes but there is absolutely no signs or anything telling you where to go or hit from. numerous tee boxes next to each other a few times we had to just guess. there is also no markers for yardage besides 100 yard sticks in the fairway. and 7 out of 9 of those were wrong. will not play this course again.
