What a shame
This course has gone so far downhill in the last 5-7 years. Used to be beautiful and well manicured. Now it is a junky, torn up expensive county course. 4 holes were under repair so we had to tee off or putt on fairways. No discounted rate given for this which is unacceptable. Bad experience and I won't be back.

It is difficult to write a fair review for this course. The weather was ideal and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The back nine was closed so I played the front nine twice. The first hole has water about the distance Rea of my usual drive. Other than that hazard, I did not really find any challenges on the front.
To be fair, I hope to play the course again and experience the back nine.
Rainy Day
Played on a rainy day thus the course wasnt playing its best. will try to play it again on a nice day to get an actually feel of the course.
Beware of Temporary Greens
I booked through GolfNow, and there was no mention of temporary greens before booking. There was a sign on the pro shop when we arrived to the course. The front nine moved along at a nice pace, but the greens were in rough shape that weren’t temporary. There were giant holes scattered throughout and made putting difficult to take seriously. The back nine and four temporary greens in a row, and it was not worth it. All three of us looked at each other in disbelief. It took all of the momentum out of the day unfortunately. The starter was extremely nice. He was the best part of the day. Luckily, the round did play quickly, but it was not worth the price. Surprisingly, the bunkers were immaculate.

Major decline in quality
This course has really declined in the last 5 years. The greens were awful, fairways and tee boxes were bad and there were 4 temporary greens. All for nearly $70 for non- resident with cart. This is a $40 course at best as-is. I was extremely disappointed and I won’t be back.
Disappointing
Greens are in poor shape and extremely slow. Fairways are fair. Stay away from Bergen County owned courses. They are not well maintained.
Course in good shape. Bit slow as would be expected on a holiday weekend. Some challenging holes, especially on back nine. For the most part plenty of fairway room, and nice greens. Bunkers in ok shape. Nice enjoyable round.

The course definitely needs some rain but was still nice to play. Would have been nice to know that the bar didn’t have a liquor license prior to getting there.
