Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club in Hudson is one of the best public courses in northeast Ohio. For the daring there are many interesting risk-reward opportunities available. The course has a rolling terrain that is dotted with ponds and lakes. Meandering streams also cut across the golf course. Needless to say, there are some tricky holes featuring water. The contoured fairways are lined with trees and the undulating greens are bordered by both sand and grass bunkers. The winding layout also offers a mix of left and right doglegs. The 17th is Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club's signature hole and it presents one of the most difficult risk-reward decisions. With a long tee shot you will be faced with the question of whether to lay up and leave yourself with a short approach to the hole or go for the long, demanding iron or fairway wood into the green.

This course was in great condition, green pristine
All season the course played well. This was a good day without any problems.
Good course at great price
This Brian Huntley designed course is well maintained in an attractive, park like setting. The greens are rather challenging which adds to the enjoyment of the round. The staff is friendly and the pace of play was okay for a Saturday afternoon. I would definitely recommend this course.
overall a well maintained better than average track
the course offers some challenging par 4's, better than average par 3's and an excellent par 5 with a risk reward shot over a lake on #17. You can play it safe with plenty of bailout to the right, but a run at birdie or a possible eagle is very tempting.
this course is a well kept course
This course is in pretty good shape, just not to many challening holes on the front 9. The one thing about this course is you seem to hear four alot.
Gets better every time I play it
As the years pass this course gets better and better. It is well-maintained, although a bit far from Country Club shape. Pace of play was fine. Greens were true and stimped about 9 at the time.
Elswerth Meadows in Hudson should be on your list to play
I live pretty close to Elswerth Meadows golf course, so I have the chanceto play it quite a bit and it is is one of my favorite courses to play in the area.
The staff is always friendly and accomodating, and the crew keeps it in fantastic condition.
The course is always in good shape and the greens roll nice (keep it below the hole).
You won't be dissapointed !
