Maplecrest was one of the best maintained courses in Summitt County. Unfortunately the fairways were dried out, t boxes were in poor condition and pace of play was horrible. People were picking up golf balls and just poor golf etiquette. I won't return to Maplecrest this year it was too frustrating and disappointing:(
Older Mature Course
Play in a monthly travel league here. You can tell that this course at one time was quite beautiful, but now it is not receiving the amount of care that it needs. Older large trees line the fairways, so hit it straight or it will be a long day. The greens are pretty good, with some severe undulations. Staff seems to take joy in placing pins in areas of the greens, where pins should not be placed. Tees could definitely use some work, as many have become infested with crabgrass. Rates are reasonable.
Look for a hot deal if you're going to play
You can tell at one point this course was beautiful. It isn't wide open but not too tight either. It's a little dry you can see too many spots in the lawn that are burned up. But if you get a hot deal and play for less than 20 bucks for 18 with a cart it's not a bad deal.

The course was in good condention, greens were nice bunkers were in good condition after all that rain and I played good 9 over for 18.I would definly play this course again.

Very friendly staff. Course is in great condition an is fairly challenging for amateur golfers. Highly recommend
Beautiful Day at Maplecrest
Maplecrest is an older parkland course, which is a fun to play. The clubhouse prices are very reasonable, when compared to other courses in the area.
