Course maintenance was being done. 3 greens were either being overseeded or repaired. Had to use temp. greens.
Great November Day
Excellent value. Course was basically free of leaves. Outside of a green being under repair, all was well worth it.
RACOON
TEE BOXES WERE A LITTLE TORNED UP, AND THE GREENS WERE TOO SANDY. I KNOW THEY WERE AIRIFIED, BUT WHEN YOU PUTTED, THE BALL WAS COVERED WITH SAND.

Good overall greens being repaired. Food good folks good. Glad to spend the day golfing their. Overall positive.

Take your own snacks, $4 hot dogs are a bit too much.

Not fun or enjoyable
Slow pace of place behinds 5-somes, members are not friendly at all! Course is in terrible shape. some holes belong on a putt-putt course. Staff was friendly though.'
So. aggravating.. left after 14 holes.

What an experience. Super slow group in front of us. But I still always love playing this course. Doglegs on this corse are like none other!
Raccoon Hill
This course was a delight to play! A bit harder than the slope indicates, with hard dog legs, long par 4's and a narrow back nine. However bad I played the course was a great change of pace! I fully recommend this course to anyone looking for a fun and challenging course.
Horrible course conditions.
I have played the course for many years and sadly the course conditions are horrible. The course is bone dry. Bare spots everywhere on the fairways and greens. Hard to find a place to hit on the tee boxes. Not sure if they even use the sprinklers. No sand in bunkers. Shame that they don't seem to put any money into what used to be a nice layout. Luckily, it was only $10 for 9 holes/cart.
Terrible
Just an absolute terrible time from the time I got there.
pushy
I work really close to raccoon hills so it's simple to get out of work and ride over. My only compliant is the lack of player control throughout the course. Lately some nongolfers even regular golfers just ride your heels when there's no need to push. The course ranger if they even have one should be looking for those players who almost kill one another by hitting early instead of letting the course clear. Other than then that its a really nice course and I will continue to play just keep your head up at all times with some.
Went downhill
This course has gone downhill. I grew up playing here so it was sad to it in the condition it was in. Completely dried out, everything was dead, lots of bare spots on the fairways and greens. I don't think they turn the sprinklers on anymore.
No damage done I was able to get 9 holes for $10.
Course Condition
The course was in excellent condition. The pace was fast and did not have to wait. Staff is always friendly and got a good deal on Golf Now.
Nice course
Played here many times, never too crowded so pace of play is good. A few tricky holes make the round interesting in a good way. Nice place for women to play, staff is friendly and price is fair with or without deal.
great little coarse to play
me and a friend play it every week people that work there are very friendly cound not be nicer most holes very standard back 9 are a little tricky the ZHOLE you must be paticent .i have never been there when the staff was rude love this
Awful experience
Put us behind an outing of the worst golfers I have ever seen. These people had no business being on the course. Next year have your reunion at a park and save us the misery. Pace of play was painful. Course should never have even had the time open between two outings. Course is a cow pasture. Greens are in horrible shape. After almost three hours on the front nine we just walked off and left. Subpar conditions and mediocre layout. Will not be back.
Can't beat the price
Yes, the price was right but as a solo I found there were two many twosomes. Yes, it held up play because I saw a group 5 of ladies out there. The starter needs to verify pace of play. I ended up joining the two behind me since the two in front were unwilling. When we made the turn the 4 groups in front had all left and we had to wait on two groups of two to tee off on 10. Odd to say the least since we never saw them on front, so we opted to play the front 9 again. Never should you see a group of 5.
This was a way different experience than I had a week earlier when the pace of play was fantastic.
