Nice weather, course was in good shape, would play again.
Hills
I’m not that good right now, however this course started out fun and I was doing well until hole 6 smacked me back to reality and I struggled from there. But to most golfers it should be a nice course
Play 9 or 18
Don’t be fooled by the 9 hole layup. If you call yourself an avid golfer, Twin Lakes should be in your rotation of courses played! Top tier greens, challenging holes, friendly staff!
Top Notch 9 Hole Course
Really, Really well kept course. Small to Medium size greens that are a true test. They were firm and pretty fast considering all the rain we had lately. Course was only wet in the lowest spots. Didn’t see one soggy spot in the fairways the entire round. Bunkers were all well kept they are often extremely deep and well below the surface of the greens. Good mix of long and short holes with some doglegs thrown in there, no to holes feel the same.
Twin Lakes
The track is pretty challenging for a municipal course, especially some of the greens. Had a pin location on the par 3 second hole where you got some roll back on an uphill putt. The course was in great shape though for early season play.
Excellent Course!
Beautifully maintained course. Really cool layout that makes you think. Some tricky par 4’s. Shot placement is essential. Miss in the wrong spot and you will pay for it. Good amount of bunkers in good shape. The rough around the green side bunkers is like US open style rough, deep and thick. Green speed was well above average compared to most courses. If theres any course you want to be below the hole on, its this one. Some greens are severely sloped toward you. Spin control is paramount. The only con i could come up with is that the cart paths are pretty beat up, but it seems like they have sections of newly poured concrete paths in some areas, so im sure its on their list to complete. You can tell they care about their golf course. Awesome hidden gem. Props to the owner(s) and staff.
A true diamond in the rough
I have played NE Ohio public courses for 30 years but never this course. The 9 hole course never attracted me or my group. How wrong we all were!! You loop twice and have no issue with pacing after 9 holes. PGA quality greens and challenging bunkers. Go out and play Twin Lakes!!
Jr
If you are looking for a small, reasonably well-maintained nine hole course that is easy and cheap, this is it. Nothing more. Because that is what I expected, I give it four stars. Otherwise, it would be lower.
Challenging coarse
Coarse was in excellent shape and a very Challenging 9 hole coarse
Fun, challenging course!
Nice clubhouse, very friendly guys working there, some tough greens if you like a challenge
