Fox Hollow Golf Club

I've played Fox Hollow for many years. It's a good layout with some challenging and some forgiving holes. The things I like best are: 1) Pace of Play - the starter does a very good job of separating the tee times to allow a good pace of play; 2) Greens - the best part of the course itself is the quality of the greens. They did just aerate several of them recently so they were a bit slower and bumpier than normal, but this maintenance will allow the greens to stay in great shape going forward. I wouldn't recommend walking it unless you like a challenge as there are a number of elevation changes and many side hills making walking awkward. Carts are strong (gas powered) and work well and there's a cart service person who takes cards as well as cash and a call in phone number for food at the turn. All in all, Fox Hollow is a very good value for the money.

Very Pleased with conditions especially considering NJ lack of significant rainfall. Greeens, tee boxes, and fairways in very good condition.

Course in very good shape very narrow very hilly even though the greens were just aerated they were in excellent shape now bad parts if you don’t know the course it’s very difficult lotsa narrow fairways with tall grass around fairways to keep the ball from rolling into the trees hit a great tee shot and it hits the hill and ball disappears and finally $99 on the weekend definitely not worth it

Great course condition with very nice course amenities. Pace of play started a little slow but staff did a good job keeping everyone moving at the turn. Started a little late but not unreasonable.

Course was challenging and fun. Will be back!

Fairways r very hard due to dry weather. The greens are inconsistent (mostly slow) because of different cuts. Many pins are on slopes.

I have to give great credit to Casey the course superintendent for an incredible job of managing this course. They haven't had much rain. The greens and fairways were in perfect condition. He obviously cares about what he does and it shows. It was truly a pleasure to play. The greens ran true and fairways were cut perfectly.

Greens are the only part of the course that are in remotely good condition. Fairways are dead and bare. Tee times are packed in 5 minute intervals. Insanely slow play, even though there are multiple signs reminding that pace of play is 14 minutes per hole. No rangers on site. Will not be back

Round was painfully long. Terrible pace of play. The greens are pretty beat down from the lack of rain and heat. The staff on the other hand were unbelievably nice. Incredibly welcoming and warm from the minute we dropped our bags. Wish the pace was faster, always tough on weekends though.

Met a relative to play this course as it was good meeting point in central NJ. Course starts out with some very average holes then opens up into nice track with challenging layout. Greens are fast , well conditioned and roll true. The lack of rain has hurt the rough but the rest of course in good shape considering the dry conditions. Played on a Monday- grill room only open Weds- Sunday which was a little dissapointing. Got a hot deal on GN, under $100 for 2 players, played in 3.5 hours. Would reccomend this course.

Great layout and condition! Greens were lightning and quite a challenge! Bring lots of bug spray cuz it’s a real issue!
