About
Fox Hollow Golf Course in Somerville sprawls across acres of rolling woodlands, offering dramatic elevation changes throughout the par-70 layout. Designed by local designer Hal Purdy, the abundant trees and hilly terrain have been deftly incorporated into the course. Originally built in 1967, the golf course was completely redesigned in 2000 to make it more challenging while at the same time improving its playability. Since its renovation, it has garnered a local following but it is still one of the better kept secrets of Somerset County, making it likely that golfers will be able to play the golf course regardless of the day or time. In addition to the course, there is also a practice facility with a grass driving range, a bunkered practice green, and an expansive putting green. One reason Fox Hollow G.C. is a popular choice, besides the enjoyable layout, is the affordability it offers.

Unbelievable Course
This course is unbelievable. The layout is beautiful and challenging. The greens roll fast, really fast and I like that. I will definitely be back. If you get an opportunity, please play this course. You will not be disappointed.
Great course except for rude starter
My buddies and I have played this course a few times and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately before my afternoon tee time the starter was very rude to me. He yelled at me about where i stood as he blew cigarette smoke in my face. Thankfully, i didn't have much longer until my tee time started so i did not have to deal with him for much longer. Hopefully this will not occur again otherwise i will have to find somewhere else to play. Besides that though it was a good experience.

Very challenging day
The greens were very fast and the pin placements challenging.
Overall the course was in great condition and the round was excellent .
Will be back again soon to conquer the greens!

Nice course
Did not know about aeration of greens until arrived at course. Rough very thick fairways and tee boxes need work.

Dr. Dallas, I'm sorry that you did not know about the green aeration schedule. We publish it in several places, especially on the tee time booking engines and for call-in bookings we try to make sure that we inform everyone. This spring we used very thin tines and topdressed heavily, so the putting was still excellent, but it was not what you expected.
