The View Golf Club

It was tough to get anything to stick on the greens. Would almost have to club down everytime and hope it would roll on the green. Overall decent course, however this issue needs attention.

This was my first time playing this course, so I didn’t have high or low expectations before playing. The layout is great (with many elevated tees and greens to go along with many sloping fairways and hills) which makes the course challenging and interesting. However, the course conditions were well below expectations for any course. The tee boxes were not well cut, every fairways had many bare spots, bunkers were not raked and many had standing water, the ponds were entirely covered with green algae (one had hundreds of bloated dead fish floating on top), and the greens were hard and would not hold any shot lower than that of a 56 deg wedge. Fun layout but won’t be returning due to the course conditions, which is a shame because this course has a ton of potential.

I probably play this course ten or so times a year. It is most always in great shape. The staff is great and the beer is cold. Highly reccomend.

All was good until we got behind a five-some, and two foursomes at the third hole. The four old farts in front of us would not let us... a twosome, play through. But it wasn't their fault that it was slow play. I believe it was the third group ahead which appeared to be a five-some and one was walking. There can only be one at fault here... the guys at the club house. You guys in the club house need to keep a close eye on those out on the course just to keep things in sync. Like the pace of play.

Always in good condition. Water in some traps, but it had rained overnight. Great staff. I always enjoy playing here.

Course is in good shape. Greens in are smooth. Played 18 holes in 3 hours. Course was empty for a nice afternoon.

Great course to play. It was our first time out and almost had a great experience. There was an older gentleman walking the course and picking up golf balls, which is all good. When the older gentleman was on our hole, he noticed we were teeing off and continued to walk down past us. I hit my ball a little right in some trees. As I am still on the tee box he reaches down and picks up the ball ( Pro V ) and continues walking. I instantly was fired up that he did this. I ended getting my ball back but ruined the back 9 for me as I was so fired up he did that. I couldn't hit at all after. I told the front desk about it and they were aware. I won't go back because of this, it made me mad so much that I didn't even play the last 4 holes. Beware!

Enjoyed another round at Valleyview. The course is always in great shape.

Liked the layout of the course with the hills, especially the second 9 holes. Fairway condition was good, greens are fair ( better if more maintain). Staff friendly. Can't tell the real pace because there were very few people played. Will play again if got chance.

The course has some fun short par 4s that were fun to bomb the driver on. Its a lot of up one way and down the other way with holes close to each other. Lots of mature trees line the fairways. Greens were in good shape along with the rest of the course. Back nine seemed a bit more challenging. Very friendly staff

Very pleasant course. Greens were fast. Spacious fairways. Must think before you drive, some blind areas. Might be a good idea to drive up and see the layout or get the handy course layout booklet. Will definetly play again.

Very friendly staff and course was in very good condition. A lot of fun!

Love this course it gives a variety style of holes and they keep it in great shape

Not for beginners

If your a beginner golfer go find a flat short course or please go to a driving range

It's out in the country with a lot of Hills I would definitely Play It Again
