Powderhorn Golf Course

We had a wonderful time , as usual. The staff is always pleasant and accomadating. The course is busy but we never feel rushed. This is the course I got my one and only (so far) hole in one! So I have a great fondness for this course. Its beautiful there and makes for a great game with friends!

First off, there were 4 groups waiting on the first tee before us at our tee time. They said that all the times were double booked between call ins and golf now.

Secondly, only one employee was at the course, working the register, snack shop, getting carts ready and acting as starter.

Thirdly, at the turn we stopped for a snack, they were out of everything. No hot dogs, no sports drinks, only ginger ale and diet mountain dew for soda selections.

The round was excruciatingly slow. Because every time was double booked, we waited 10 minutes at every tee box, and several minutes on each fairway.

The sole employee was apologetic, but offered nothing for our troubles as far as a discount or coupon for a later round.

Until they get these problems sorted, I would not even consider playing Powderhorn again, even if it was free.

The course was in great shape considering all the leaves. 18.00 for 18 holes is a deal that you can't pass up.

By far my favorite local course. Never had a bad experience here. Front 9 is very well maintained, the back 9 could use some work. Their sand traps could use some work, always wet. Best local driving range. Great value for the money, highly recommend.

Great pace of play took 3 1/2 hours with 3 players and I'll give the course A+ we got a lot of rain but still played well.

tees need some work, fairways have a lots of bare spots but the greens are some of the best I have played on. To make this course great u have to put the drainage pipes under ground & across the fairway. Don't have ditches running across the fairway. I will be back but will play from the senior tees to get over the ditches like holes 9,& 16

This course is normally in incredible shape. The greens were rolling really true but incredibly slow. The fairways had a lot of bare spots. The tee boxes were awful. They had huge areas that needed to be resodded or planted or something. The staff is super nice. The carts are electric and nice. It was a great deal online. But if I had traveled for this I would have been pretty upset. Hopefully, they'll get it back in shape like it's been in the past.

Perfect weather for golf, the course was even better; both the greens and fairways were in excellent condition. First time playing the course, I will be back.

Was our triple header choice. Golf, lunch, Cleveland ballgame. Weather was a 12 on the 1-10 scale. Putting green was perfect, only bicker would be the course greens were not as good as the putting green. Lot of short par fours that you must think on. Plenty of sand around greens. Most holes framed nicely as to see the hole. Few blind situations. Opening par 4 a problem. As hard as they come. You can score here or be ball hunting a lot. I would return every summer. Easy to find off the 90. A pleasure to play. Even had a deer and little baby watching us.

I had a foursome and we were 2nd off with a twosome in front of us so the pace was great! We played the tips which I think was a shade over 6,000 yards. I'm not a long hitter by any means but had a few looks in from less than 100 yards on par 4s. That said it's pretty tight with a bunch of placement shots especially if you missed the fairway. Fairways were recently cut and in great shape, Greens were lush and perhaps a touch slow but rolled true. All in all it's a long haul to get out there but the value (esp. through GolfNow) is well worth it!

It was nice. Some of the greens had some bare spots, but they still rolled pretty well. The layout is mostly good. Two of the holes didn't make sense, but we got through it. Fairways were in really good shape and the rough was about 3 1/2 inches. I'll play it again.

Great course for all levels. The place was in great shape and it was really fun to play. I will definitely go back.

Awesome 18 holes Every hole was different. Was in great shape. Don't pass this one up.

i was happy with the conditions this early in the season. I like the layout as it allows you to use various clubs throughout the course.

Short but challenges are at every hole. Will definitely be back to play in the summer.

Played on a nice spring day. Even with all the water, the course was in great shape. Great value for the money.

While the course isn't long you have to hit every club in your bag. You have to think your way around the course and a little course knowledge can be helpful. Had a beautiful Fall Day to play with great company. I highly recommend playing Powderhorn, the day we played the rate was $15 for 18 and included the cart. Go enjoy a day on the golf course at Powderhorn.

A Beautiful Golf Course and fun to have a round in the middle of wine country.

Powderhorn is a great course a 40 minute drive from Cleveland, but well worth the drive. Nice people, challenging course, pleasant staff and nice practice facility. Great Value!
