Good Course
Course played well. Greens and tee boxes in really good condition. Fairways had some grass clippings. Rough is tough.
The only reason I didn’t give an overall 5 rating is because every time I play here I go through so many balls. It’s not their fault for me hitting a ball into the woods but it shouldn’t be so difficult to find a ball just off the fairway. I love the challenge of the course but can’t afford all the extra balls.
DanO
Picked up the Tee Time the night before. Suited exactly the time I wanted to be on course. Was hoping to be joined by another loan golfer but ended up going it alone. As it was, I was always waved through as I caught Foursomes, etiquette courteously followed! Powderhorn has done a good job maintaining the fairways and greens through the dry summer we’ve had. Though I did appreciate the few dryer fairways that encouraged ball rollout with my a driver! Overall a great day of golf, even if I had to humor myself being alone.
Nice country style course
Nice course. Challenging layout. Country style. No houses. Peaceful. Has a range. Good course overall.
Very fun course to play
Very fun course to play and in very good condition, the only thing lacking was the bunkers. I loved this cousre, the only negative thing about it for me is that they don't let you play past 8. Overall I'm very excited to play this course again and to put friends and family onto it.
Great course but they were watering greens while we were playing
Bunkers
What happened to the bunkers? They have been removed on many holes and are now hard pan with weeds growing in them. Those bunkers that do remain are mainly dirt and unplayable. Are they going to be replaced/fixed?
Old faithful
Always open and accommodating. Nice layout. Kind of tough. Has lots of trouble to find. Country style course with no houses around which I love. Friendly staff. Does have a range and putting green. Basic snacks and hot dogs inside.
Exceptional customer service (Sue) & great course conditions
Course Manager Sue is exceptional. She always greets me by name and very professional. Considering all of the snow, rain, falling leaves the course was in awesome condition
