Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

Golfer Reviews
This course provides the bear minimum
The golf cart GPS system needs recalibrating. Both carts shut down multiple times indicating we needed to get back on the cart path when we were on the cart path???. There is no water or bathroom facilities on the course like there use to be. They did not have a beverage cart out on the course so if you want something to drink you need to break their rules and bring your own.
Trashy front desk service.
I live on this course and it is a shame. Rude, Clueless, personnel. Geese are so bad on this course it’s not worth playing. Not worth $20 let alone $50-$60
Geese Galore
When you read the other reviews referring to the geese, know that it is serious. Geese are everywhere and their scat covers everything. Good luck putting through it. Sad because the course conditions outside of the geese were actually decent. Also I must add we had to play with what felt like a spring break party on the opposite fairway. If you REALLY need somewhere to play, a hot deal here would be ok, but you would be disappointed paying full price.
Disappointed
This course is disappointing, there is geese and geese poop everywhere. These geese are aggressive and are literally on every hole. You can’t walk a fairway without getting geese poop all over your shoes and it gets all over your ball which you have to pick up and get the poop on your hands. It’s insane. For what I paid this course isn’t worth it. The bunkers are filled with gravel and rocks. I wouldn’t hit out of then. The golf carts are constantly beeping at you. On one hand they say you’re behind then try and get you to stop at the bar. It’s a joke. I’ve played here a few times but won’t anymore.
Challenging course, played over many years. Superintendents have let the geese take over the entire course, so disappointing.
Course needs maintenance
Lucky I got a hot deal on TeeOff and only paid $45. No way worth $70 to play. I have not played here in years and don’t think I will be coming back. It’s ashame. The amount of goose poop all over the course especially on the greens is awful. Feather everywhere also making it difficult to see ball. The course seems to lack a ton of maintenance. The layout of the course is decent just wish they fix it up.
Too much money for such a poor course
Goose droppings everywhere. Chewed up tee boxes. Ok fairways. This course charges way too much money for the condition it is always in ( which is poor on its best days).
Do not play here
Terrible course, too close tee off times and greens were in bad condition. Save your money and go to mini golf instead this place
Disgrace
Without a doubt the worst course in the area. This would be a cool spot to mess around for $25. For $70-80? No thanks. Conditions are poor and it is not taken care of whatsoever.
I will say, the course layout is cool. Would be a great purchase for an investor who wants to rehab it and return it to playable conditions.
Has Potential but ownership doesn't care
If you are a casual player the staff doesn't give you the time of day. The course condition is below average, other than the greens which were adequate. 9 of the 18 holes are cart path only ( par 5s included) so might as well walk and save some money because 77$ for this course is robbery. The geofence on the carts is probably the most annoying part of Everything. It gives you about 3 seconds to turn back before it completely shuts down your cart. I've tried playing there a few times over the year and every time I say I won't be back. Hopefully I learn.
Soon to be sold vibes
77$ for this course is actually almost robbery. Between the bunkers having literally 2 feet of water and some with literally no sand just rocks in them to no cart girl to no marshals to speed up play this course has a soon to be sold vibes. Clearly the owner is just milking whatever is left of this which is a real shame because the length and challenge of the course is quite fun everything else is below average.
Don’t expect a lot
I went by myself today after seeing there were a lot of openings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and food available. The carts have range finders in them and radio capabilities, but shut down when you break the rules.
My impression was that the course was great 3-4 years ago but has been let to sit without any major repairs. The bunkers were filled with water or otherwise were just pebbles without much sand. The tee boxes were in average shape. The greens were fine and the fairways were alright. Average rating. With a little of work this course could be great, but it looks like the owner wants to milk it without putting more money into it. I’d say 3 out of 5, but for a little more you can play some great courses in the area.
