course in terrible shape,greens horrible,avoid playing!!!

The course is easy to get to, staff is friendly and helped out when need. You could tell that mother nature has been tough to the course. The pace was good, greens not too bad but fairways need some love. We played again this past weekend and will be back.

Played this course as it was 1/2 way between my friends house and mine. The course layout is very nice and challenging. The conditions of the fairways and greens are horrific. Seems as though the only money spent here is by those who play and not on maintenance. Mowing seems as the the only maintenance this plays gets. Fairways and greens look they are diseased, Geese excrement is everywhere. I had to change my lie numerous times as not to be standing in it. This place needs a ton of money spent on it , Such a shame as this place is a great design.

Absolutely the worst course I’ve ever been on.

Groundskeepers and management were incredibly rude! The course was is TERRIBLE shape. Don’t waste your money on this trash course. Go play at any of the nicer courses in the area.

This review would be too long to do fully so I’ll just list some of the things that happened. For a little context I play about once a week and have played most courses in the area. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at any course. I have never complained at any course or written a bad review but this so bad that I felt like I was on a hidden camera tv show.

-There were groundskeepers in front of us (in fairways, on greens, and everything) on 14 out of 18 holes (no exaggeration).

-One of the groundskeepers ran over one of our balls with a lawnmower on the fairway.

-Another groundskeeper moved one of our balls on the fairway so he could keep cutting the grass.

-The sprinklers came on while we were playing on one of the holes. We had to wait about 5-10mins for the sprinklers to shut off.

-I complained to one of the groundskeepers and they said there was nothing they could do.

-Then there was a groundskeeper who rudely yelled at us for driving on the wrong dirt path. When I pointed at it and said it was the cart path he said that the identical dirt path next to it was the actual cart path (even though there was no way to tell and absolutely no difference).

-One of the holes had deep holes as if they started working on the sprinkler system a few days ago and then quit and left it all exposed.

-They did not allow personal coolers, but also offered no food or beverages. It was extremely hot out and I had to put my small cooler with cold water (not even alcohol) back in the car. So we assumed we’d just buy some drinks when the cart comes around to sell some drinks. Well, by the 13th hole I asked if they have any carts that come around to sell food or drinks because we were dying and they said no they don’t (which I’ve never seen for a course of this price).

-No divot filler in the containers, no shoe cleaners, no ball washers. (I know other courses have done this because of covid, but no shoe cleaners makes no sense.)

When we were done I went to the office and told them about all of this nonsense and they took my name, address, and phone number said they would take care of it.... well it’s been almost 4 weeks and I haven’t heard from them since. For the price they want to play here I will go to a significantly nicer course with friendly staff.

Course wasn’t in great condition, no map on the score card, the pictures at each hole do not tell the whole story, some holes would have been more fun with better details. All in all this an okay course, but I won’t be coming back until it’s extra cheap

Green were horrible. They put back the rakes, flags and holes but no water to be found anywhere. For $59, cold bottled water would have been appropriate for each golfer. Very little thought to patron comfort was applied. My LAST choice for play from here on out.

Played this course not long ago, but the greens were in decent shape back then - they are terrible now - so sorry I wasted my time there - it’s pretty sad while most other courses I’ve played are iin top condition, this place is awful

This was my first time playing this year, and for $69 I was very disappointed. The greens were horrendous and the up keep of the course was very disappointing. I will not be playing this course again this year to many other courses to play with better value.

This was my 3rd time playing Wedgwood during this pandemic. The tee boxes and greens have progressively gotten worse each time. The golf cart was not very clean to start with, not sure if Covid protocols are in place. The course can be great, not enough work is put into the course. $69 fee is too high for a course that is not in great shape. Too many other courses to choose from, I was very disappointed.

Course is is good shape outside of some of the greens, fun course to play. Good value for the money
