Wedgwood Country Club
About
Wedgewood Country Club in Turnersville is one of the most popular public golf courses in the Tri-State area. It offers an upscale atmosphere with a traditional layout that pays homage to Philadelphia's most prestigious and renowned private courses. The course is like playing two in one with a front nine that is spacious and open while the back nine is much tighter and more heavily tree lined. The entire Wedgewood layout sprawls across gentle undulating terrain, providing subtle breaks throughout that will test your skills. There are two holes that are particularly memorable, the 13th, one of the toughest par 4s in the area, and the 17th, a tough par 5. The 13th is a lengthy par 4 that requires a second shot over water with a long club to a difficult target. Wedgewood Country Club's penultimate hole demands accuracy with an uphill drive through a chute.

Good course
Nothing over the top bad or great about this course. Just an overall good course. Layout is better then the condition. Great value with hot deals . Not sure I would pay the full rack rate for a morning round here.
Average
This is a course I normally play a few times a year. I played in late Oct 2015 and the conditions were overall pretty good. Greens were the best condition I have ever seen at this course and they ran relatively fast. Fairways were decent but the tee boxes and rough were inconsistent. Two short iron and two long iron par 3s keep you honest. A few blind shots make it challenging for the first time player.
Great Local Course!
I've played Wedgwood many times and it rarely disappoints. Sure there were some brown patches on the greens and fairways, but with the drought we've been having that's happening at most courses. The greens were rolling smooth & true. For a $20 hot deal it was more than worth it. Definitely worth playing for anyone nearby who hasn't played it before. You'll use every club in your bag.
Hit a brick wall
a very good course excellent for the average golfer and even better golfers. Great place to learn and work on your game. The problem is the back 9 .invariably you move right through the front 9 and then you hit a brick wall at number 10 and your pace slows down so much that you lose your rhythm and your game suffers. The brick wall is almost always foursomes our two stones that don't know the rules and etiquette of golf. They don't allow faster paced golfers through while theyare player hitting from the blues and shooting over 100. it's absolutely uncalled for. They need a golf ranger out there moving pay along.
Course Needs Maintenance
The day started with the carts being locked up with a chain and nobody had a key to release them. The starter is very unfriendly or inviting and you will need to ask him questions as to your place in the line up or if you were paired with anyone. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in poor condition and need maintenance. There is a lot of storm damaged leaves, branches and trees which need to be cleaned up throughout the entire facility. We went out earl and there is no cart girl and the snack stand was closed when we made the turn at 9:45 am. They really need to work on customer service!
Overpriced
Nice layout along with challenging holes but poorly maintained.
Need some rain?
Great layout. Challenging narrow fairways. Unfortunately storm that came through at the end of June 2015 took down many trees especially on back 9. Greens are fast and are drying out, many brown areas. Repair your divots?not done here even with a reminder sign in your cart. Fairways need a good watering. Overall worry taking s look at if you get a hot deal. Otherwise wait till the rainy season. Staff was excellent!
Tough, but fair
I played from the senior tees (5600). I didn't play my best, but when I hit the fairways on my drive, things went much better. The rough on most holes was challenging, but it rewards good shots. One green wasn't very green, but the putts were fast and true throughout.
Favorite
Bring your A game. This one will eat your lunch if you don't hit fairways. Great conditions, and excellent speed on the greens.
Great course
First time playing here and it was fantastic. The course is narrow but you don't feel squeezed. The scenery is great and even if you miss the fairways, you very often can still play a quality second shot and not have to waste time just punching out. I will definitely be playing again
Really nice round
This is a fun course that requires a straight drive to stay out of trouble. Unique layout between houses on both sides gives it the feel of a Florida golf community course. Greens were in great shape and ran true. High approach shots stayed on the green. I would definately play again.
Excellent condition
It was the first time I played there the course was an excellent condition and we had a really good day. It was the first time I played there the course was an excellent condition and we had a really good day in. I would recommend it to everyone, who likes a nice place !!!!!
Rushed to start
Was scheduled as a twosome. After arriving about 15 before the tee time, and heading out to the practice green, I was told by the starter that we were "up". This was ten minutes before the tee time. I stated that we were to start ten minutes from then and the starter said "Do whatever you want then" and stormed off in the cart. I didn't appreciate being rushed. We had a tee time for a certain time and I expect the course to at least honor. If we were late, that is one thing. The course would have likewise expected us to be flexible if times were running behind as they often do at public courses.
The course itself was in decent shape. Interesting layout in some respects with some challenging holes. For the money, I think there are plenty of other courses in South Jersey worth trying.
regular price was steep
I got a group on and for what I paid it was worth it - but without a nice discount I'm not sure I would have played that course. In all honesty I thought for the regular price the course should have been in better condition.
Nobody fixes their ball marks.......
Nobody fixes their ball marks.......Repaired at least 4 on every green. Very nice greens / fairways. Need a few more rakes. Played in 3 hours and was paired up with another.
Will play again . Did not try the food.. If you're reading this - fix your ball marks ..... if you hit the green !!!!!!
Great place to play.
Course is in wonderful condition right now. Will play again.
Well worth the money
Very well kept and maintained. Friendly staff and players. Course is perfect for both beginners and experts alike!
first time here
I thought it was a fair course in good condition with greens that ran true. Would definitely play again.
Nice round of golf
We went during the week and walked. It was a nice round because not many people were there. Greens were in nice shape as were the fairways. Just wish I had played better.
Fun local course
This is the only course I've played this winter/fall season that actually took time to maintain the bunkers, which is good because I spent a lot of time in them--greens are rock hard when it's 32 degrees. It's a fun course with a couple of very narrow tree lined fairways, but it also has some open fairways. It isn't a difficult course, but it is very close to home. How can you beat it?
