Marysville Golf Club
About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Hidden Gem
I had never played this course before, and since it is about 11 miles from my house, I wanted to get in a quick round. I didn't know what I had been missing. The front 9 is the original 9...very nice, and the back 9 is the new part. Played every club and will be playing it again.
Best public coarse in the area
This place is defiantly a hidden gem. Worth the drive. I’ve played a lot of private clubs that doesn’t hold a candle to this place. Don’t let the club house fool you.
I have been called a golf coarse snob and that is because I’m very critical.
good course
people were complaining about the conditions of the course, but I thought it was fine. is it worth 36 dollars? that is for you to decide. Rolling Meadows down the street is just as nice of a course and if you find it, can be a better deal.
Great value
Good condition, excellent staff, typical pace of play for a public course early in the season (5 hours). Would recommend.
Excellent conditions, beautiful greens
Excellent conditions, beautiful greens, very nice pace of play, friendly staff.
Surprisingly GREAT!
I have played this course off and on over the years, and on several occassions the course conditions were not all that great. However, I was extremely pleased in every way this time, plus the staff was excellent.
Marysville always a delight
Played as a 2 some on a 81* slightly windy day in late April. The course is making improvements!! The fairways were beautiful, greens in great shape, some traps playable others either abandoned or needing attention. You could see supple improvements like the delapidated bridge between #4 and #5 tee has been removed and a nice gravel path places in its place. I really like the layout. Golfpass usually provides an entertaining $. This is typically my go to course when not sure where I want to go.
You Get Your Money's Worth
I used a Hot Deal on the website and paid $25 total. For that price, this course is a bargain. The front nine is the original nine and has tree-lined fairways and challenging, severely-sloped greens (back to front). The fairways and greens were in very good shape. The back nine is the newer nine and has fewer trees but more OB. It is still a challenge with forced carries on several holes, two long par 3s, hard doglegs, and some two-tiered greens. I played on a cold, windy weekday so there were not many other players.
