About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

What a bleep hole
Recently moved to the area and booked a tee time on Golfnow. Course was in awful shape, fairways hardly mowed, tee boxes overgrown and greens not really mowed either. On top of it the bunkers are a lost cause as they're overgrown with grass and weeds. I'm by no means a snob but come on ya have to at least mow your course. Stinks because it is an awesome layout
Bad bad bad
Arrived at course at 3 pm 20 min before my tee time to find all doors locked and thinking course was closed for good. No one in sight, landscape around clubhouse overgrown, clubhouse needing painted. As I decided to just walk a few holes I was then chased down on hole #2 by the employee that had finally returned from her hiatus. Course had standing water everywhere which made it difficult to even get to tee boxes. Standing water in bunkers with edges of bunkers overgrown with grass. Ended up calling it quits after 5 holes and walked off the course.
Windy day @ Marysville
Spent a delightful high 70* very windy sunny day with a friend on the links at Marysville GC this afternoon. We were paired with a very nice single handicapper. The course was in great shape realizing all the rain we have experienced. The greens were a tad bit HEAVY and in need of a trim. But, the course tee to green was in great shape. The traps were abandoned, as it seems most muni courses have abandoned their traps for whatever reason. With a hotdeal price and reward to boot, the price was unbeatable. Great pace of play.... which we truly appreciated..
Snagged a hot deal on golf now.
18 holes. Cart. 12 bucks.
Can't wait for my dad to come visit because hes coming with me. And there's a high probability I'll be back at least once a week.
And for the record, its early in the year, only reason course conditions got a knock.
Difficult
I have played the course twice now and each time, there has been an issue with the GolfNow purchase. The first time, it showed me golfing on Monday, instead of Sunday. Luckly, I didn't make the trip for nothing. Last night, the app only charged me for your fee and not the round. They have a lady that works the counter, who is just difficult. Also, they had a HS Girls team on the course and they were so slow!

Needs a lot of work
Course has potential but needs a lot of work. Tons of dead trees and weeds. Fairways are ok. Greens good. Lots of drainage issue and the torn up gravel cart paths have got to go.

Started at 11am solo behind two groups of twosomes.... the slow twosome in front bowed out at 9. The next twosome was senior golfers, couple. I have no problem with bad golfers, I do however have issues with slow play. I could tell they were getting tired during the second nine. The other problem was not inviting me to play through... I was not pushing but they knew I was close. Where was the ranger. Three groups behind me were held under as well. Please people, I Love golf but let’s not make a career out of staying on the course.....

This is a very old 1933 golf course it’s like a time capsule in decent shape it could use some tree trimming and removal to produce better air flow
Great golf. Horrible service.
I arrived at the course about 30 mins prior to my tee time and was scolded by the Asian woman behind the desk for being early. I told her that I would jus putt around on the putting green until my tee time, but she kept on repeating that I was to early. The course was not crowed at all, there was not excuse for her chastisement. Even though the course was in great shape and the greens rolled real well for a public course, I would not recommend it or will I play there again.
Best Value in Columbus!
For $28, this course can't be beat in central ohio. Its in really good shape. The greens were in great shape (though a little slow) and the pace of play was amazing. I would go play it again tomorrow.
Nice course for the price. Greens are very nice. Unfriendly staff. Not sure if the pro shop lady said a single word.

I played from the geezer tees and it was a perfect layout for me. There were enough challenges that I wasn't bored. The bunkers need lots of sand, but the price was right.
Great course they are making better
This course has recently put work into their bunkers and purchased new carts. A great value.
