Marysville Golf Club
About
Marysville Golf Club has been one of the most popular public golfing options in the area since it opened as a nine-hole course in 1932. A second nine was added in the 70s, completing the layout as it exists today. Save for a few mild undulations the course is mostly flat, providing an enjoyable walk. The fast bentgrass greens provide a good opportunity to use your short game skills. There are a few small ponds that come into play as well as a meandering stream. While there isn't a plentiful amount of bunkers there are enough strategically placed throughout to provide a fair challenge. Marysville Golf Club is not overly difficult but the versatile layout has a playability that will appeal to players of all skill levels.

Great value for the money! I would give course an excellent rating, but the clubhouse is dirty and the men's restroom is VERY disgusting.
Challenging enough for any senior player like myself. Yardages from the gold tees on par 5's make it possible to reach the green in 2 after a healthy drive. Unfortunately, the facilities are not kept clean, especially the men's room, which is disgusting; thank good ness there are plenty of secluded areas!
This course is good
Recent rains have taken its toll on some of the fairways and around the edges of some of the greens .
dont waste your time
course was in bad shape. fairways were burnt out around the greens. traps were in bad shape, and there was no water in the ball washers. lots of nice courses out there. next time I will spend my money elsewhere.
Wet
Course was very wet. All traps had water in them. Greens had not been cut in 2 days and were super slow. All grass in front of greens were bare. Hitting many shots from bare ground. I only paid $6 to play. That was the best part !!
Good course for the cost
This was my third time playing the course in three weeks. It has many interesting holes and is generally well maintained. The course was pretty busy for the day, but this was the first time in three weeks we encountered slow play
course drains great, true greens that are great to putt on
We are lucky here in central Ohio to have so many older tracts that once were country clubs that are now public courses. This course was in great shape considering we had flooding two days prior to our round. The negatives about this course are that it is owned and operated by a couple and most times it is horribly understaffed in the clubhouse with one person managing carts and starting as well as the snack bar. The men's locker and restroom had a stench of urine. My partner literally waited to use the restroom on the course and heard others say they waited and used the woods! I hope they read this, because it is a health hazard. Other than that the course is well maintained and a fun course where you can go low.
.
Fun challenge
Played after a great deal of rain over past week. Well maintained compared to courses played during same time. There are some tough holes that make course challenging to first time players, recommend making the trip, especially with golfnow deal. Great value
Grand old course and fun
The course was in good shape. Holes are a good test.very women friendly. A great course for the money! Club house is a little dated.but you can tell what money they get goes to course.
Not long, but challenging
We played on a rainy Saturday, and the course was in good shape. Various levels of skill were represented, and all had a good time.
Great cheap course with friendly staff.
This is a great golf course for the value. It is not a terribly difficult course, but it is well maintained and definitely a fun course. I would recommend this course to golfers of all levels.
Good Course
This was the second time I've played this course, the first being several years ago. The course was in good shape despite heavy rains in the previous days. The layout is good and of average difficulty.
I would recommend this course to any level golfer.
Well maintained course with nice variations in layout.
Course is well maintained with a variety or hole configurations which provides for a lot of fun. It has everything you love: trees, sand, water with good fairways, greens and rough.
The course is in great shape!!
The folks at this course seem to take pride in the course itself and do a great job of maintaining it. You can see that they have moved the tee boxes into different areas to prevent excessive damage to the tee boxes. Fairways are beautiful and cut to perfection. Greens putt very true. The only thing that I found to be somewhat bad was the ball washers didn't have water or cleaner in them. Also it might not hurt to have water coolers for the hot days.
Very nice course for the price.
I hadn't visited this course since it was named Flagstone, which is quite a number of years ago. It's present condition is better than I remembered, and it's just challenging enough to be interesting. Well worth the price of admission.
Short course with trees placed well.
My only complaint was no water on the course. It was in the 80's and it would have been a plus.
Go for it!
Other than the fact that I play horribly here, this course is a good place to learn how to play a course and NOT always go for it. There are a lot of ways to cheat the course IF you hit the right shot but if you don't then your score can rise quickly. I unfortunately cannot stop myself from trying to go for it when I should be playing smart. Of all the courses located near Marysville, this is definitely one of the best and I would highly recommend it to all levels of golfers.
they have some nice greens, not much on bunkers though.
overall a nice golf course for the money. I would play this course again.
