Timberview Golf Club
About
Timberview Golf Club rolls across a diverse landscape that is ideal for a challenging round. The rolling terrain is covered with mature trees, ponds, and creeks. There is a housing development surrounding the golf course, but the houses do not intrude into the game. The layout features seven holes that were carefully carved from the dense forests and fourteen holes with water hazards coming into play. The course has a good balance of player-friendly holes and more challenging holes. The wide fairways are well manicured and the undulating greens are medium in size. In addition to the water and trees, sand fiercely guards the greens on half of the holes. The layout is still gentle enough to appeal to beginners. Timberview also offers two practice putting greens.

Great course, better value
Had 8am tee time, pace of round was really good especially not having a Marshall driving around. Cost of 18 holes is solid especially for the course conditions. Well kept and maintained greens/fairways. Rough was a tad high making locating balls difficult if you get too far from the fairway. My only complaint would be the golf carts need updated or upgraded and the bar area wasn't open until atleast 1pm. I feel those two things are all that's lacking to compete with some of the $70 per round courses because the course and layout itself was great.
Bang for your buck
I like timberview for the price. Solid course. I have fun everytime I go!
Greens need work
Staff was nice and offered a senior discount. I know they worked on the greens last year but many still patchy with issues with fungus.
Some work done last year also on cart paths but still areas need filled in.
Worst condition I’ve seen a course in
It was shocking seeing how poor of condition this course was in. I would lot have paid $15 fojr a round here. From the tee boxes, to the fairways to the greens, nothing was kept up or in good condition.
Great value
I had a great time golfing at Timber View. It is a great bang for you buck! Ownership is kind. I will be back asap. Thanks
Good value
As a beginner, always a good value to come here and practice. I have played 4 times here in the last 3 months. Staff is super friendly and they work hard.
One of the times we played, the fairways were so long that we couldn’t even find our balls in the fairways. We had a drought this summer and it showed. A few weeks later, the course had seen a decent recovery. This last time, they are wrapping up tue season so the starting blocks were not present.
Overall, we like coming here for the cost and the location.
Decent track
I enjoy playing here. Definitely not a long course, but just coming off of heart surgery last week…that was an added benefit!
Staff is nice and the course is probably in the nicest shape it has been for a while. I’ll be back
Great for practice rounds
This course is in god awful shape but with the right owners, it could be amazing and could easily compete with the likes of Marysville GC, The Ridge, Rolling Meadows, Darby, and dare I say it… Blues Creek. The staff is very friendly and accomodating but in the end run, this course is only good for one thing…. Practice rounds when making adjustments to your swing to see how well you can put it into practice.
Terrible course
I hade played there years back and I thought it got better but it was worse green they’re bad I don’t recommend to any one
