Great course always in great condition!
Great Course
Course is always in great shape, and they can have really tough greens. Even though the course wasn't crowded the twosome behind us felt necessary to keep hitting up on us.
Yes, But
It's really a shame that this course doesn't have better drainage. P.V. stays wet for many days after a rain. two days after a rain, and my drives still stop dead or plug in the fairway. For a person who doesn't hit it far in the first place, having a "decent one" (for me 200 yd) plug makes trying to score very difficult. I have to remember to go elsewhere unless it hasn't rained for over a week.
Consistent
I play here every week and the course is always in great shape. The tee boxes, the fairways, bunkers and greens are always well maintained.
Enjoyed the course, in real good shape. Cart paths need a lot of work. But overall a good experience and I'd play again.
First time out after knee surgery
Everyone in our family is an avid golfer. This was my first time out after knee surgery. I forgot how tough Pleasant Valley can be! Hahaha the course was in great shape except for just a few dry dirt spots and one hole that unfortunately I stepped in. Luckily my knee was fine and I'll go back again soon!
Best public park I ever played on. Fairways were excellent and greens well kept

A very difficult course...
The course plays long and the back 9 is much more difficult than the front.
Good Value
Long layout from midfle tees Conditions generally good. Smooth rolling greens. Rough not too long - which makes this course fee strokes easier than Sleepy Hollow, Manakiki, etc., where rough is punitively close to fairways and greens. Cart paths are full of ruts and holes so bring an extra seat cushion! Overall good place to play.
