Great except rental clubs
I came in from vegas and played there last thursday and sunday since I flew.I didn't want to bring my clubs, so I rented theirs. They were by far the worst clubs. I've ever played within fact on both days. I am great handed golfer and each time. I had 3 left-handed clubs in the rental bag that I didn't bother to check. I assumed people working at golf shops knew the difference between left and right. Not only did I have to play both rounds with the worst quality clubs. I've ever seen. I didn't have 3 of the irons. I normally would use either day. I guess you get what you pay for as it.I don't think there was a charge for them. These clubs were obviously lost clubs that have been turned in over the years. One of them didn't even have a grip.
Nice Course
First time playing here. Nice layout, course was in great shape. Staff was friendly. It is a little over priced for what you get.
Not worth it
This round was one of the most frustrating rounds I've ever had at this course. The course itself was not in bad shape, other than the greens being on the slower side. It was generally in pretty good condition, but the course layout is very boring, with a lot of back-and-forth and a lot of really short holes. There were a couple of holes that were on the longer side, but for the most part it was not very challenging.
The pace was incredibly slow. We were the second group out and were waiting for every shot on the front nine because of the group in front of us. At the turn we found out that we had to wait before teeing off on hole number 10 because they scheduled a league to tee off during the time when we were supposed to be turning. It was frustrating, especially considering that when you're one of the first tee times out you expect not to be held up and not to be waiting on every shot because the course has scheduled things and is not maintaining the pace of play or the experience of playing the game.
The staff, all of them, were incredibly rude and unhelpful everywhere and with everybody that interacted with them. I will never be back to this course. It was not worth my drive or my money. If I were you I would do everything I could to avoid this unless it was literally the only course with a tee time available and the only time that I had available to play in the foreseeable future. Even then I'd probably still choose to just sit at home as opposed to going and playing this place.
Fun day great pace
Really enjoyed our round at Valley Air. We got out early and the pace of play was excellent. The foursome ahead of us kept moving, the group behind us wasn't pushing us, and we finished well ahead of pace. It made for a really relaxing morning.
The course itself was in great condition, and I liked the newer GPS carts. Everything was well maintained, and I didn't have any issues all day.
My only minor critique is that holes 6, 7, and 8 feel a little repetitive. They're three long, straight, wide-open holes in a row. A few more trees, a fairway bunker, or another feature to make them more distinct would add some variety.
Overall, it's a fun course that's in great shape with excellent pace of play. I'd definitely come back.
Valliere really stepped it up
Haven't played there in awhile. New carts with GPS, new clubhouse. Loved it!! Definitely coming back. Would like the greens a little softer.
A Memorial Day to remember
I found the course easy to get to and parking was a little tight, got inside staff was very friendly, starter was very nice that’s always a plus. The course was in good condition for how much rain we have gotten it was cut well kept, the pace of play was terrible 1045am tee time and we were finishing up at 430pm almost 6 hours to play this course and it’s not even big. Not to mention the carts are new and they shut down on cart path only twice on us in the cart path! Look another thing I dont care for is a towering tree in the middle of the fairway, look folks the staff was great but pay an extra 20 and go down the road better experiences in that area of town!
Great course, nice layout
Great course nice layout. Greens were nice. Only issue was course was wet and it was cart path only. That kind of slows play down. Other than that. I will be playing this course again.
Affordable and fun course always in good shape.
Shockingly good conditions for offseason. Always a fun course.
Slow pace of play
Complete and total chaos on the front 9. 5 man teams with 3 carts going every direction in the course. Shotguns tee times need to be spread out more. Course is beautiful
