Valleaire Golf Club

Valleaire Golf Club is a scenic, welcoming spot for a round in Hinckley. The course is well-kept and pleasantly challenging, with tighter fairways that reward accurate play. Friendly staff and a clubhouse with event facilities add to the appeal. A great choice for a relaxed day of golf.

Great layout and course was in fantastic shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be that the tee times being 7 apart makes for some frustration at times. The carts are equipped with GPS that chirps at you every time you move that you are behind pace. It was just a small inconvenience but it did take something away from being able to enjoy the natural beauty of the course.

Only downside was groups were stacked too close to an ongoing outing, needed more space in between, waited a bit long on every hole, other than that a perfect round, will surely be back.

Why would you have tee times right after an old man men’s leagues tees off? It would’ve been over a 6 hour round! Staff didn’t give an crap either.

Very nice course. One I like to play often. Always in good shape. Staff is nice. You can adjust the challenge by changing tee boxes. My only negative thoughts is pace of play. 5 hours on a weekday is a bit long. Could use some marshaling.

That said, I will be back.

P.S. The sausage on a bun is delicious!

P.P.S. If they expanded their pro shop, I would for sure buy some club branded gear.

There wasn’t any rain in the forecast, so naturally it rained us out. The staff were so accommodating. They gave us a rain check. I also left my magnetic golf towel on the cart, which I didn’t think I would recover, but they had it and I picked it up the next morning! Love this course for a quick round and the staff!

Valleaire golf course has all that a golfer wants when they play a round. For example, nice smooth rolling greens, great manicured tee boxes and fairways, the rough is cut just perfectly!!! This course is very well maintained! I played really early and got done in 3 hours. This is a must play course. I just wish the electric carts went a little faster. But overall, a 10 outta 10!!!

I came in from vegas and played there last thursday and sunday since I flew.I didn't want to bring my clubs, so I rented theirs. They were by far the worst clubs. I've ever played within fact on both days. I am great handed golfer and each time. I had 3 left-handed clubs in the rental bag that I didn't bother to check. I assumed people working at golf shops knew the difference between left and right. Not only did I have to play both rounds with the worst quality clubs. I've ever seen. I didn't have 3 of the irons. I normally would use either day. I guess you get what you pay for as it.I don't think there was a charge for them. These clubs were obviously lost clubs that have been turned in over the years. One of them didn't even have a grip.

First time playing here. Nice layout, course was in great shape. Staff was friendly. It is a little over priced for what you get.

This round was one of the most frustrating rounds I've ever had at this course. The course itself was not in bad shape, other than the greens being on the slower side. It was generally in pretty good condition, but the course layout is very boring, with a lot of back-and-forth and a lot of really short holes. There were a couple of holes that were on the longer side, but for the most part it was not very challenging.

The pace was incredibly slow. We were the second group out and were waiting for every shot on the front nine because of the group in front of us. At the turn we found out that we had to wait before teeing off on hole number 10 because they scheduled a league to tee off during the time when we were supposed to be turning. It was frustrating, especially considering that when you're one of the first tee times out you expect not to be held up and not to be waiting on every shot because the course has scheduled things and is not maintaining the pace of play or the experience of playing the game.

The staff, all of them, were incredibly rude and unhelpful everywhere and with everybody that interacted with them. I will never be back to this course. It was not worth my drive or my money. If I were you I would do everything I could to avoid this unless it was literally the only course with a tee time available and the only time that I had available to play in the foreseeable future. Even then I'd probably still choose to just sit at home as opposed to going and playing this place.

Really enjoyed our round at Valley Air. We got out early and the pace of play was excellent. The foursome ahead of us kept moving, the group behind us wasn't pushing us, and we finished well ahead of pace. It made for a really relaxing morning.

The course itself was in great condition, and I liked the newer GPS carts. Everything was well maintained, and I didn't have any issues all day.

My only minor critique is that holes 6, 7, and 8 feel a little repetitive. They're three long, straight, wide-open holes in a row. A few more trees, a fairway bunker, or another feature to make them more distinct would add some variety.

Overall, it's a fun course that's in great shape with excellent pace of play. I'd definitely come back.
