Pinelands Golf Club

Told by starter that there was “no construction on the course. Third hole electrical work being done on fairway!! Zombie golfers in front of us, nobody in front of them, held us up on every hole. 5hr+ round!! Course needs someone to speed things up.

Course in good shape and should be fun but we won’t be back.

Every single time I play this course, I see positive changes happening. Whether it be the new cart paths, new green drainage systems, or the beautiful patches of turf they are installing, this course proves that the money you pay goes back into the course.

The renovations that have been made are outstanding. Unfortunately we had four elderly gentleman in front of us that on every tee box, talked for five minutes before they teed off and no one was in front of them. That however was not able to influence negatively the day. I love this course and will play it again when I can

New grass , new sprinklers everywhere.

Greens are smooth and pretty fast.

Elevated tee boxes. Clean, new restrooms.

Haven’t played course in years since I moved from area. Course was much better than I remember. Looks like they are investing in course and it shows. Great job.

Overall the course itself was in fine shape, beautiful and fun. Pace of play was really slow, seems like nothing new there looking at other reviews. The layout is tight, a lot of golf balls flying on to other holes, just keep your head on a swivel. Greens were just punched when we were there, I get it needs to happen, but I also think they should let you know on the website before you book.

The biggest thing that I can’t believe I didn’t see in a single review is the fact there is an outdoor gun range right next to the course. So if the loud banging of inconsistent gunfire in your back swing sounds annoying then just be aware.

My friends and I enjoy playing Pinelands - however, yesterday was a bad experience for us - the pace was terrible, we waited on every shot. When we got to the snack shack on #7 we spoke to the bag drop person who is always there and we explained that the groups in front of us were slow beyond an acceptable level, he could see the back up and he said he would talk to the groups in front . He drove his cart (with ranger flag) to the group in front of us and drove right past them never stopping to talk to them — we never saw the ranger again….pace was terrible and one of my friends stopped playing and just sat in the car beginning on hole #15 because he was so frustrated….;Pinelands is making many great improvements to the course and it’s amenities and I like what they are doing, but if they want my group to continue to play we have to have the assurance that management will enforce some sort of reasonable time limit of play or move groups forward that are unable to keep up.

Love the course! Have played it many times. Good conditions. They need a ranger. Had we stayed to finish it would have been over 5 1/2 hours! Players in front of us were in the woods on every hole. Sometimes it was 10 minutes looking for balls😳

Was worth the 1.5 hour drive. Very well maintained.
