Kind but really a great course

No tee boxes open, no warning and still full price

After a slight frost delay we headed out.

Colin at the bag drop is awesome, friendly and helpful. Just a heads up there are quite a few temporary tee boxes, which didn’t bother us. The ranger kept a watchful eye on the pace of play and although pretty crowded we finished in 4 Hours.

Best of all, managed to book under a hot deal for great value.

Second time I played here this year that every tee box was closed

I understand that the course needs to be worked on and maintained, but every hole at the same time changes the course.

Maybe a discounted rate or at least a notice on line would help

The effort and hard work has made this course a pleasure to play. The pace could be much better.But it is a beautiful course

Interesting layout with very good conditions except for leaves. The leaves were not removed "leaving" me with few golf balls remaining. It was a struggle to find golf balls even in the fairway and the greens were covered. I would stay away this time of the year.

In addition, we were admonished to speed up in spite of no one behind us and being 1/2 hold behind those in front. I appreciate speed of play, but they need a ranger who is golf savvy and u nderstanding about how the lack of course maintenance to remove leaves slows play,

Work is always going on making great improvements. i do think the senior tees are a bit long esp. on the par 3's... Really wish they would put up some decent yardage markers three stakes on the side of a fairway would really be nice and would speed play i am sure. the markers in the middle of the fairways are impossible to find.

Feel like if you book an early tee time and you don't watch the weather, you should have to play in frost rather then delay everyone an hour. Also would have been nice if the range sent out a message saying it's delayed. Had to wait over an hour to start. And when getting started, the groups ahead were very slow. No rangers pushing them along. Had to wait 5 mins plus per tee shot, and we had a foursome. Other than that, course was great. They are doing alot of renovations so there's some equipment and stuff around but that didn't bother us. Nicest course we have played at so far. Like the food and drink shacks throughout too. Better then guys going into the bar and there being a line at the back nine.

Course has vastly improved since I last played it. And more improvements were being made. Next year should be an altogether different course than what it was. I just hope the price will not drastically change and it will remain an affordable course to play.

A great value…. But like any course cut thru the Pines…. Leaves a definite “fall problem”
