Great course but disappointed overall with my experience
Paid for single on golf now. Got there 15 minutes When before tee time. Told one of the staff what my tee time was but never told me to check in inside. So i went putting for a little bit which was right next to the carts. So i checked in 10minutes before tee time. Little did i know that ill be paired with a group of 3. Told the guy i paid single (one player) on golfnow. He insisted to pair me with the group who already teed off 5minutes earlier. Guy drove me to the fairway and wont let me tee off. That really got me upset that i started my first shot on the fairway. I get it its busy but ive been to other courses where they would at least let the group go first and will tell you if its ok to wait a little bit which i dont mind at all.
That instance blew my overall experience no matter how perfect the greens and fairways are. At least the groupi was paired with were really nice.
Great potential
It was all temporary tee boxes which was a bummer but for $44 it was hard to be that upset about it. Once the tee boxes are up and running this has potential to be one of the better public courses in south jersey. I just hope that not too many people catch on and then they start jacking up the prices. My only complaint was not having yardage markers on the course. It was super odd to not have a post or sprinkler markers or anything for distance. Other than that, I will definitely be back!
First time playing under new owners.
Nice course . A lot of work has been done and still is going on. Small fast greens ,Good pace of play.
Another Satisfying Round at Pinelands
Will continue to come back. Price is ideal for a golf course. With all the continued improvements to the course, hopefully prices remain the same, as word of mouth will bring more golfers.
Great Updates
Haven’t played here in a few years. Ownership has done a great job with the updates to the course and clubhouse. Can’t wait for the tee boxes open to get a true feel for it
Great early season round
We had a super day to play with almost 70 degree Temps and little wind. While we played from shorter temporary tees, it was still good golf. The layout is excellent and improvements are being done. The greens are large and very challenging. The amenities and staff are quite good. What was once a course that you wouldn't want to play is now a course that everyone will find enjoyable.
Feb. 22
The course was in great shape for the last week in Feb. 1 temp green that we did not expect. Greens fast but bumpy. All the renovations will make this a must play SJ course.
Another Satisfying Round
Used hot deal on Tee-off app to secure a great rate, per person, for my foursome. Normal tee boxes are closed, so all tees are in a specific assigned area, so some holes may not be as challenging as when the normal tees are in use. Very satisfied day with my partners, as our shots landed on fairways and greens. Looking forward to my next visit.
Enjoyable day
Being in early February the pace of play was amazing . I wish it was like that during the year because it’s terrible. I had the pleasure of playing with 3 great players and one in particular gentleman named John who shot a 72.I love playing there but the pace is not good during the season and hopefully they can fix this problem
Great course, great food.
Can't bring a cooler of any
Kind but really a great course
Great December Day
After a slight frost delay we headed out.
Colin at the bag drop is awesome, friendly and helpful. Just a heads up there are quite a few temporary tee boxes, which didn’t bother us. The ranger kept a watchful eye on the pace of play and although pretty crowded we finished in 4 Hours.
Best of all, managed to book under a hot deal for great value.
Tee boxes
Second time I played here this year that every tee box was closed
I understand that the course needs to be worked on and maintained, but every hole at the same time changes the course.
Maybe a discounted rate or at least a notice on line would help
