Frost delay
Feel like if you book an early tee time and you don't watch the weather, you should have to play in frost rather then delay everyone an hour. Also would have been nice if the range sent out a message saying it's delayed. Had to wait over an hour to start. And when getting started, the groups ahead were very slow. No rangers pushing them along. Had to wait 5 mins plus per tee shot, and we had a foursome. Other than that, course was great. They are doing alot of renovations so there's some equipment and stuff around but that didn't bother us. Nicest course we have played at so far. Like the food and drink shacks throughout too. Better then guys going into the bar and there being a line at the back nine.

Course has vastly improved since I last played it. And more improvements were being made. Next year should be an altogether different course than what it was. I just hope the price will not drastically change and it will remain an affordable course to play.
PINELANDS Golf Club
A great value…. But like any course cut thru the Pines…. Leaves a definite “fall problem”
…. But staff was working hard on it
The course was so backed up there were two groups waiting on each tee box. It took over 2 hours and 30 minutes to play the front nine on a Tuesday afternoon.

I have played this course many times.and while the new ownership is making multiple improvements with their investments-the pace of play is terrible.
Over booked- bad golfers- tough conditions? I could not wait to get off the course- the only reason I was able to play 18- multiple groups in front- LEFT.
Slow!
One group backed up entire course . Ruined experience
Great Course
Love to play at this golf course they have done so many improvements, looks and plays great .
Monday at Pinelands
This course is in the best shape I’ve seen in a long time. They’re putting cash into this place and it really shows. Except for some very small inconveniences during the round, our group got through it in 3-1/2 hrs. The restaurant had a good selection of entrees except I’m a vegetarian and had limited choices. I chose to hold off trying anything but my group enjoyed their lunch.
Greatly Improved but pace-of-play still an issue
New ownership has invigorated this old course. The investments they’ve made are bearing fruit. Grass is growing, the “cart barn” is a great event venue, and the new clubhouse serves great food. Ball washers (absent post-COVID at many courses) are greatly appreciated. Hopefully, future upgrades include replacing/removing the teeth chattering cart paths. With that said it’s still a moderately-priced blue-collar course. The pace-of-play is not great. On a recent Friday our foursome played in 4:45 and we were waiting almost all day. The course seems serious about POP. Each cart has a tee time card which lists expected turn times and finish times. The rangers refer to detailed POP charts but here’s the thing which stands out: why would a course of this caliber have par three’s playing 160, 160, 190 and 215 (from the white tees)? A course such as Pinelands will not have much low-handicap play. These lengths do absolutely nothing except increase POP. Why not reduce POP and make the round more fun for the mostly hackers playing there? With that said Mason and his group are doing a great job and we’ll be back.
