No water stations
I can’t believe that with the temperatures over 100 for two weeks and even before that there is no water stations. The course is beautiful and well taken care of and the water comes on while you play and they have a ground crew member watering the greens but no water stations and that’s rediculous considering the heat. I hope this will be addressed
I’ve played here many times this summer but four groups on the tenth was too much, I stopped after 9. I will play here again
Great Conditions
Course is in great shape. Real sand and not mud in the bunkers was a pleasure. Pace could've been a little quicker, but I'd rather have it be a little slow than to have some ranger riding around ruining everybody's good time
Challanging
Greens are great and fairways are for the most part excellent.
Challenging and unusual layout with 3 par 3s and 3 par 5s on the front 9 you dont see that anywhere. Cart paths were a bit rough but that does'nt change my opinion of this place, friendly staff and the ownership shows a real commitment to maintaining this coarse from top to bottom.
Very nice course
Really love the links layout. Have to hit multiple types of shots. Competitive pin positions. Greens rolled true
Amazing transformation
What a difference with the new owners. Greens are usually starting to go this time of year at the Pinelands. Those days are gone, This course is in great shape and continued improvements are making it even better. Once the new grass in the off fairway areas ake shape it’ll be even better. The amount of trees that have been removed or trimmed back to enhance your views and playability is amazing. See you next week.
Course and accommodations
Pleasantly surprised how pretty and nice. this course is...from the entrance to the parking, driving range, pro shop, etc. Will be back for dinner.
1st timer
I enjoyed my first round there and will definitely return. Course is being improved based upon advertising and it shows. I spoke to a player who said it is greatly improved from the previous years. I shall return.
hot fun in the summertime
Course is in great shape. Greens and approaches to the green were excellent. Tee boxes also in great shape. Play was slow, although the ranger said we were ahead of schedule. Significant improvements since last time I played this course. It was very hot and humid but it didn't stop us from finishing the round. Although the AC in the bar area could have been a lot better to enjoy our drinks but it was a little warm in the bar area. I think the only drawback. Staff were very friendly and professional. I would come back.
New owners/new look
I played here for the 1st based on reviews and availabilty during july 4th weekend. The place did not disappoint. People told me there is new owners and they redid the entire course. Great value. Not sure how long it will last as more people discover it
Pinelands is back!
After years of avoiding this course due to unplayable conditions, I played it today based on friends recommendation. The new management is investing wisely and this facility is making a great comeback! Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens are in excellent shape! Once they get the bunkers fully repaired this will be a very worthy course! Love the layout and pace of play, and restaurant is great!
Course was great
could not finish the round because of thunder and rain, but did get a rain check for 9 holes
First time
Finally made here after many friends suggested it. Didn't dissappoint. Fun layout, great price, excellent condition.
No water stations and only one bathroom
The Pinelands is a great course and I always enjoy my time. I play at other courses and they all have water stations and bathroom facilities. I played yesterday and it was brutally hot and I called ahead of time to see if they had put water out and they had not. And I feel bad for the women who have no facilities to go to the bathroom. Hopefully they can address these issues. But the course is great and I love playing there
