Definitely making the right moves
I live locally an have played Pinelands about 2x each golf season. Great routing & interesting holes. In spring conditions were just ok ,come summer it would become unplayable with dirt, weeds, crabgrass, ect. Not anymore! New owners have removed encroaching trees, increased turfgrass quality and upgraded clubhouse, new carts, ect. The rough between fairway and newly cut back trees still needs to be overseed as bare hardpan is just off fairways. The clubhouse and restaurant have been renovated and food is very good. This place is becoming a destination country club, glad to see it ,keep up the good work i will return soon if the improvements continue.
Great Course
Always enjoy returning to this course and very impressed with the upkeep and changes being implemented Staff were very polite and helpful..
Getting there.
I can remember how bad this course was over 3-5 years ago. The new owners must have spent a lot of cash on this course. The tee boxes, greens and fairway are in the beat shape I have ever played. The rough and cart paths really need work. Who cares just stay in the fairway and you will have no complaints.
Pinelands - Shaping up nicely, very enjoyable
First time playing at the Pinelands Golf Club. Conditions were very good. Fantastic greens, bunkers still need some work. The new owners are renovating this course and was very happy with the conditions. The pace was a bit slow as there was a foursome two groups in front that were holding it up. Would have liked if the rangers were a bit more diligent in moving them along. Pace was 4.5 hrs so not too terrible for a weekend but this was a Thu. afternoon.
Another great time
Had another great day at The Pinelands. The course is absolutely beautiful and in great shape. I just wish they would put water containers on the course all the other courses have them out. Other than that I’m very happy and pleased
a long walk
It had rained the night before so it was walk only.
We accepted the challenge and survived. The only difficulty we had were the water stations were still not in place since the covid restrictions. There also were no benches near the tee boxes which would have supplied a much wanted rest spot.
All in all a great day of golf on a course that gets better every time we play
Better the second time around
Second time in about 3 weeks for me and things got better. ( not my score). Tees and fairways, 80-85%. Greens are great right now. Lest keep the divots to a minimum everyone. Bunkers do mostly need work. Once the ground under repair comes in all over the course, it’s gonna be pushing 5 stars . Glad I live within an hour. Will return.
Hard as a rock around the edges/ fairways, greens. Some grass would be nice.
Good layout, seed the course.
More grass around the edges and greens.
The restaurant is great.
Old snooty starter playing the power tripper.
I'll go back .......maybe to eat.
