Virtues Golf Club

For such a nice course its ashame the pace of play is so slow. We played on a Thursday Afternoon and it took over 5 hours to play. Apparently that is the norm at Longaberger according to the course workers. We couldn't have asked for nicer course conditions and the layout is one of my favorites to play, but the pace of play ruined the entire round. At one point, 4 groups were on the 4th tee, I talked with the ranger, he told me he knew what was causing the hold up, but couldn't do anything about it.. (must have been his regular buddies playing slow).. He also told us if it stormed not to use the shelter near the 12th hole, because they had a bee issue there.. You would think that could be solved with some bee spray.. Overall a nice course, but I won't go back unless I have the 1st tee time of the day because its not worth my while to play a long round. If you like to play slow, you'll fit right in at Longaberger.

Finally got out to Longaberger, and boy am I glad I did. Beautiful course. Very scenic with some real interesting hole layouts. Conditions were about perfect. Worth the pricey rates to get out there especially if you've never played it before.

Longaberger is a great course and is always in great shape but my last two rounds there have been have been really close to six hour rounds and I played them both around 3pm on weekends. When we arrived they were unable to give our group any carts because they were out of them. We got our cart and loaded up about ten minutes before our tee time and that cart ran out of juice on the 14th hole and after three attempts to call the clubhouse someone in the restaurant was able to get me some help. The second cart they gave us ran out of juice on 18 and we had to push our way to the clubhouse. I have played this course 10-12 times over the past 7 years and it has honestly gone way down hill this past year. Not worth the hour drive and $$$ for greens fees.

Longaberger was very impressive from the drive up the entrance to relaxing overlooking the course afterwards. The course was very challenging, especially the optical illusions. Spent too much time in sand traps that I thought I could fly:( It was a very rewarding course that offered many holes that you just don't see any where else. It was hard to concentrate on the golf game with so many fabulous views to enjoy. You got to score early, the last 4 par 4's are very long.

A must play for any golfer. Staff was friendly and would play again.

it was very very hot 55.00 at a discout little steap and the lady that brings cold drinks around was on 10th tee and 18th tee would of liked too see her more for the money we paid would consider playing again if it were free shoot me email and let me know if that could happen

Longaberger is simply one the greatest rounds of golf you will experience anywhere. I have played fabulous courses all over the country and this ranks right up there with scenic views, great elevation changes, challenging tee-to-green experiences hole-after-hole and ultimately one of the best finishing holes anywhere. Took my youngsters (14 & 18) out this time for a treat and they were both captivated by the course. Only bummer was my youngest sprung an 82 on me from the golds (6900) to whip me. Oh well, still a great day on the links. Don't miss the chance to play Longaberger at least once a year. You'll never regret the experience.

I must say that this course is very scenic and in good shape however a 5.5 hour round for 69-99 dollars is ridiculous. There were 3-4 groups on every hole after #5 and the waiting was a killer. The ranger said there was no one holding up the pace of play and simply put his hands in the air. The problem is the course is too greedy, clearly they had overbooked tee times but to make matters worse they allowed replays filling up any gap in the schedule. Overall not worth the money unless you are the first group out in the morning.

Longaberger is drop dead gorgeous. From the tee boxes to the greens this course is maintained like Augusta. Pick any tee box for your level of play, and enjoy a great day. Long shots, short shots, shaped shots; you literally will play all of them. If you play well good for you, if you do not, the scenery and nature will make up for it. Thanks Longaberger for a great day!

Course was beautiful, playable, and in fantastic condition. Paid $50 through golfnow.com, which makes this the best value in Ohio.

Beautiful, pristine, intimidating, fun. Had the opportunity to play here while visiting family. Every hole provides a unique challenge. Wide fairways and large greens give every skill level the chance to score. Can't wait to go back.

I've never had a bad time at Longaberger. Greens are great, course requires you to hit every kind of shot. Plenty of risk reward opportunities. One of my favorites, worth every penny of $64.

Believe the hype, the rankings, the rumors. This place is top notch! I don't know what to say because it can't be put into words. If you're from Ohio or nearby, it is a must play! Immaculate shape with extreme scenery! The staff treats you like a tour pro. The course is tour-quality.

Yardage was appropriate. FOUND THE PUTTING WAS DIFFICULT TO READ.

the course was awesome,beautiful,greens recently dearated but still nice.great sand in traps.staff very friendly and not snooty to us commoners.concessions outa my price range.

Hadnt played here in quite a long time, and I wont wait so long to go back. Love this course! One of the most challenging to play, yet one of the most enjoyable rounds I've had.

Anyone who complains about a $60 dollar green fee here is a complete fool. If this course was built in any other state other than Ohio they could demand a $100 fee or more. The layout is gorgeous, always in good condition and the staff is always professional. Don't let anyone tell you Longaberger is not worth the money especially late season, great deal on a great course.
