About
Virtues Golf Club (formerly known as Longaberger Golf Club) in Nashport is Ohio's no. 1 public golf course and it's also ranked in the top 75 public golf courses in America. Situated about an hour's drive from Columbus, the Arthur Hills design tumbles across rolling hills, stretching from the ridge top down to the valley floor. Wide, undulating fairways flow seamlessly to immaculately manicured greens bordered by beautiful mature trees. The setting will make you feel as though you've been transported to southern Appalachia. You'll be greeted with stunning panoramic views everywhere you turn. Be careful though because the dramatic slopes make the golf course just as challenging as it is scenic. Multiple sets of tees keep Virtues G.C. playable for golfers of all skill levels but no matter which you choose to play from, a bevy of uneven lies await you.

Don't have ..100, 150, and 200 yards marks before the green. No signal for GPS. Difficult to know how far from the green,
Challenging course; expensive green fee.Need yardage marker, need food and beer car.
Great course, layout and fall colors were outstanding
It was a little cool and windy, adding to the challenge of putting your ball in the right locations on fairways and greens. Only complaint was the course of play was ssssssssllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww!!
very scenic and great condition
A very well conditioned and scenic course in the hills of Ohio. The staff and facilities are top notch. This isn't a course for 36 hdcps but you could get around.
Tour style on neighborhood budget
The course was in terrific shape, pace was a bit slow, usually you don't see the group in front after the first hole, but today was different.
Best Public I Have Ever Played
Have played many Indianapolis and Saint Louis courses.... Longaberger takes the cake! Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly / knowledgeable staff member who explained that the course was constructed on acres of farm land. Every hole is unique, beginning with Hole 1 and the old tree in the middle of the fairway. Club house is a great place for a post round lunch / dinner. Have already recommended this course to all of my golf buddies.
The course played slow. In part, the wet conditions meant cart path only. The greens had just been aerated within the last week or two.
With the greens being aerated, they putted slow and were bumpy. The course is very scenic especially the front 9. It offers a challenge to any golfer. There were multiple sets of tees so you could pick one that match your distance. The staff were very friendly. The most challenging hole is hole 18, a long uphill par 4 with a well bunkered green.
