Oak Shadows

Course was in great shape. Greens were in excellent condition. Speed was good, not too fast.

Nice layout with elevation change. Enough water to make it keep it interesting but not too challenging.

Fairly generous off the tee with a few exceptions with OB left and hazard right, but keep yourself in play and you should have a shot. Greens are really nice! Coming in with any iron they were soft enough to stop on a dime, however they roll out more than expected with the putter, very smooth. Overall this course is maintained very well!

Will definitely come back the course is in great condition.

Oak Shadow's management elected to sell tee-times immediately following the final group in a junior tournament. Between my 2-some and the final group of kids was a 3-some, a 4-some and a 5-some. Needless to say, the course should not sell tee-times that close to a kids tournament and like any good course they should not permit 5-somes. That is two bad, slow play, experiences in a row and is a reflection on how the course is managed. We will never play there again.

Great golf course, my only complaint is I wish there was someone from the course standing at the first tee to make sure people are playing the tee time they reserved, my tee time was stolen and I was on the tee box 5 minutes early, my tee time was at 11:24, the tee time after me was 11:40, and the one before me was at 11:14 so obviously the people in front of me got to the tee box late which really slowed everything down after that, especially on a Sunday mid season someone should be there to make sure things go smooth.

First time playing this course and I must say it was well worth the hour and a half drive. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Course is in great shape and the elevation changes are spectacular (especially from the tips). Clubhouse is nothing spectacular, but it more than serves the purpose (friendly staff and good service is all you really need). One minor complaint is it would be nice to have a few water coolers out on the course, since there's no beverage cart. It was north of 90 degrees on Sunday.

Craig McConnell runs a top shelf facility. Pro shop is nothing special, but the course is special. A good variety of holes, each hole presents a different challenge. We got behind a slower group of seniors, so round took close to 4 hours. Normally can play this course in 3 + hours. This is a fine course that should be played often

Truly enjoyed playing this beautiful layout! Course was in great shape, despite recent heavy rains. I wish it was closer to home so I could play more often.

We had a great time on very windy day. One buddy got his Summer's quota with 4 birds. The course was in good shape after a long winter.

We went the day after heavy rain which followed aeration. Some fairways were still muddy with leftover plugs. Still, it was well worth the hour drive and the money. Absolutely love this course and will play any time I get a chance.

Oak Shadows is a wonderful test of golf. You will hit every club in your bag in 18holes. Craig and his staff do a wonderful job. This is a must play course each year!

I always enjoy playing Oak Shadows. The greens are fast and challenging, with a good bit of undulation. Fairways are reasonably wide, although misses can be costly. On this particular occasion, there was an outing going on. The first few holes were very slow, But then things smooth out and we played the round in about 3 1/2 hours.

Nice layout, good shape, really friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Great course. Fairways and greens in county club condition. Nice layout for all levels of golf skills. Nice layout with plenty of elevation changes. Hard to find anything bad to say about this course, except it can be pretty wet the morning after a heavy rainfall.
