Safari Golf Club
About
Located adjacent to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Safari Golf Club was carefully carved from mature forests. This tight course is not particularly long, but it has a varied design that appeals to a number of different tastes and skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and water hazards on several holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking treacherously beside the greens. The golf course starts off with a challenging par 4 that features a dramatic drop from the tee to the green. It finishes with two demanding par 4s as well. The 17th and 18th holes both feature a slew of challenges including rolling, tree-lined fairways and tricky stream crossings. Although it presents a formidable test on some holes, Safari Golf Club's hazards are straightforward with no surprises.

Great course
Greens were healing from recent aeration. Rough , slow and bumpy. To be expected. Otherwise no complaints.
Great place to golf
The course is always very well maintained, I am never disappointed,
Very nice course
Very nice course, but they overbook and match you with other people to fill 4 spots. But other than that the course is incredible.
Frost delay of over 1.5 hrs
Made my tee time at close to 10 am because I knew the morning temp was cold. When I arrived at 9:15 they had not let the starting group off yet. They were going to let the first group of the 8:00 tee time off around 9:40. I was not told what time I would be off but but I could do the math that my 10 am tee time would be around 11:30. I had plans in the afternoon so I told the guy to cancel my tee time. He was upset that I did but I told him I couldn’t wait. How about you not delay the entire day of tee times and cancel the tee times in the morning or fit them in when a available time occurs.
safari
the greens where plugged.putting was hard.from tee to green was perfect and clean.great layout.
Great Course
I really enjoyed the course. The fairways and greens were in fantastic condition.
Great course
Great course, challenging for mid handicappers. Take your time practicing on the outing green before going out.
Great Course
Very nice course. Carts are newer and drive well with usb chargers. The greens can be a little firm and unpredictable but the overall course is awesome.
Safari Club
Our round was interrupted by rain but a rain check was given and the staff was friendly.and helpful. The course is well-maintained and perfect for my skill.level. I would recommend it without hesitation.
Good day overall Solid round
There were more than a few places where the tee boxes were really wet and I don’t have spikes so I really couldn’t get a good drive off. It hadn’t rained in days so I think they heavily watered it because it was hot and sunny all day. The food was great and the course offers some interesting holes but pretty easy if you can stick a straight fairway.
Great public track
Outside of a few bunkers & greens on the slower side, in great shape. Friendly staff & great practice area.
#18 hole remains the dumbest hole in all of Central Ohio.
Course conditions were all over the place- fairways were in decent shape and played fast, but then the greens were all slow and needed some maintenance. The holes are also right on top of each other, so it's not unusual to have someone just off of the fairway in front of you playing to a different hole. It seems to be a pretty popular course and is always packed, so make sure to give yourself ample time to get through a round.
Everyone on the staff here is very friendly, which is the best thing that this course has going for it.
