About
Located adjacent to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Safari Golf Club was carefully carved from mature forests. This tight course is not particularly long, but it has a varied design that appeals to a number of different tastes and skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and water hazards on several holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking treacherously beside the greens. The golf course starts off with a challenging par 4 that features a dramatic drop from the tee to the green. It finishes with two demanding par 4s as well. The 17th and 18th holes both feature a slew of challenges including rolling, tree-lined fairways and tricky stream crossings. Although it presents a formidable test on some holes, Safari Golf Club's hazards are straightforward with no surprises.

Playing golf for the first time this year
The course is not long, you must hit the ball on the fairway as much as possible, it's not easy to find the ball in the rough.
Challenging course with great tough greens
I’ve been fortunate enough to play this course a few times a year .
Nice driving range , big place outings etc

Tough but fair course though greens you really need to learn to read like most courses can be a challenge

This course was maintained well. The greens were very nice and the pace of play excellent. Not a real difficult course. Excellent for a stress free day at the course
Degree of difficulty at Safari Golf Club
The course is well laid out. The flow is predictable.
Very good maintenance. Specially March & April right after winter season.. Most of other courses have a bad green and fairway like having a lots of scars. Very good like our carpet.
I like to recommend one thing. Need some rough area with longer grass & weeds.

Excellent conditions for the time of year and finished round in 4 hours on a pretty busy day
Safari Sunday golf in March
Excellent conditions on the course, especially in early March. Forgiving for the casual golfer but challenging to score for the pro. It’s a fine line but Safari has done a nice job. Looking forward to my next round.
Good Golf
I was so happy to play this golf course after I had hip surgery I wasn't sure how I would play. Turns out the hip was good and the golf was just as good. Had a great time. Love this course
