Flying B Golf Course

What a sleeper course. This was the second time that my Son and I have played this course. It is a bit of a drive for us, but the we couldn't pass up the cost.

This course has better than respectable tee boxes, better than respectable fairways and far better greens than you would expect.

I really love Flying B. It’s the course that I don’t mind driving too from out of town. It’s always well kept and the greens are never out of shape. I will be back a few more times this year.

Very nice course with outstanding personnel. Course is in excellent condition with smooth, quick greens, manicured fairways and challenging rough. The only changes I would suggest are to use red, white and blue pins to indicate if the cup is front, middle or back of the greens and to trim about 20 feet off the top and 10 feet on the sides of the large tree that is 250 yards from the white tees and dead center of the fairway on #9. There is less than a 10 yard opening on either side of that tree to the green.

Just a fun course to play period. Lots of variety involved, some fairly easy holes and some really tough ones as well. Holes 9-12 are all very challenging with #10 being a great example of how a short par 4 can be quite demanding.

My only negative is that the cart fleet sorely needs to be replaced. Twice this year, we had to exchange carts in mid-round. Other than that, with the low rates this is probably the best bang for the buck a golfer could ask for.

Just a great place to play.

Not the longest or toughest course, but it is a lot of fun to play. All your clubs will come into play. I try to play 5 or 6 times a year. Highly recommend.

Front nine is okay the greens are approachable with no unusual angles of approach. Number 9 has a large tree dead center of fairway about 150 yards out from green? Back nine is another story. Many of the greens setups from the fairways makes it tough to hit and hold the greens. Number 10 is especially difficult with the large water hazard next to green running to the right and the green is sloped sharply down and to the left. Fairways are nice but the high cut of grass around the greens will penalize you for missing.

The course was in great shape and the price was very reasonable.

The course is in good condition and it was a good price.

Course was in pretty good shape for all the rain we had. A lot of the second cut of grass off the edge of fairways was pretty high but most of it was really wet so the mowers probably unable to get in. Teamed up with 2 guys who had the same hot deal t-time had a great time with 2 great guys.

The course is the best public course in the area! We haven't been here in a couple months and were surprised to see how great the fairways and greens were this time of year. Other courses have dead spots and patchy greens but not flying B . Their groundskeeping crew is top notch .

While not advertised as a golf destination, I found the quality of play here to be as good as some higher profile tracks. Great conditions, small greens, and tight fairways. You won't lose many balls if you spray your shots, but there will be a heavy price to pay on the scorecard. Only complaint is lack of colored flags to represent hole placement means a range-finder is necessary equipment here. Considering the reasonably priced green fees, this place ranks as one of the greatest regional values in golf.

Course is in excellent condition. Greens are undulating and the rough is challenging. The upkeep of this course is immaculate. It is a great value for the cost. One of the nicer public courses I have played this summer.

I have played this course before always in great shape, gives golfers of all skill levels a chance to score well. The greens are always in good shape ball rolls well fairways always cut low and always green great course.

Great shape as always. Requires accuracy off the tee. Very Nice contoured fairways. Need to bring your short game too. Rough was thick. Very good test. Always worth the trip.
