Flying B Golf Course

This course is a true diamond. Great T boxes, fairways and greens. Its a challenging course, even played from the relatively short tips. Well worth the drive and time to play here. Just as good in July as it was in May.

Course is a hidden gem. Family run place with a decent challenge from the tips. Greens, fairways and tee box’s are pure.

Play was ridiculously slow. I heard the group ahead of us say that the course had double booked their tee times. We waited on every shot on every hole. The course was in great shape!!

No other word to describe it,,,, excellent course, excellent condition. Ideal challenge. Its a scorers course for sure.

I met a buddy halfway between Pittsburgh and Canton to play this course. Man this place is worth driving an hour plus. Tee boxes are perfect. Fairways are lush, and the greens are rolling beautifully. I even respect the rough being tough for a public track. I’m jealous of anybody who lives close to Flying Bs.

Great course, great conditions, great pace! Can’t beat it for the value! Great course to play hole 10 might be the hardest in the area!

Course was in great shape! Greens were fast, rough was thick, fairways were in great shape.

Flying B was in great shape, well manicured, and lush from all the rain. The course is not extremely long, however, the greens are small and fast and when coupled with rough around the greens that is thick and relatively high, it translates into very challenging approach shots that have to be pinpoint accurate to hold the greens. This combination makes the course more challenging than the slope rating implies. Overall, great pace of play, good character layout, and well manicured from tee to green led to a very enjoyable day on the links.

The course was in good shape for being May. The rough around the greens was high. Overall the course was really nice. Greens rolled slow though.

I was told to let the course speak for itself and don't initially judge the place based on some other factors. Best advice because the course was in GREAT condition. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were phenomenal. The layout was good with no gimmicky holes. #10 green is diabolical but love it. The young staff in the clubhouse were very friendly as well. I will definitely be playifn there again. Side note, very walkable course.

This course is always one of the best conditioned courses I play on. No matter what price or location. No fancy dining room or pro shop. Just an A+ conditioned golf course.
