Tricky Tough Greens
The course is in amazing condition, considering the lack of rain we have had. Fairways are green and cut low. Greens are undulating and some are very tricky! Highly recommend this course! We got a hot deal for 25.99 and well worth that!
Still Great
The B remains great, even in the late months of the golfing season. Legitimately, no difference than from May/June golf time.
This is a hidden gem! Challenging, with greens probably registering around 10-11.
Unbelievable value for your money
I have played here 5 times now this year and every time the grass is in great shape, not a stick or twig on the ground. Greens take your irons shots but roll fast and true on your putts. Fun and challenging layout keeps you on your toes.
Best cared for course
Course is always cared for. From start to finish. Own son took over a few yrs ago and he doesn't miss. Great price, Great conditions
Best in the land
Don’t let the humble surroundings sway you. This course has the best fairways and greens in all of NEO.
The property doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles for a golf course. But that’s why you aren’t paying $70 to play here.
Rough is forgiving and most times you still have a look.
Two negative were pace of play, you do get some inexperienced players out there. Also, ball marks on the green were pretty bad on some holes. But again, new players may not know to repair greens.
This course is a steal
The conditions on this course were nearly perfect. You would expect to pay double for the conditions you get here. The cart paths could use some attention, but I cannot speak highly enough about this course. Definitely recommend.
Diamond
This course is a true diamond. Great T boxes, fairways and greens. Its a challenging course, even played from the relatively short tips. Well worth the drive and time to play here. Just as good in July as it was in May.
Pureee
Course is a hidden gem. Family run place with a decent challenge from the tips. Greens, fairways and tee box’s are pure.
Double booked
Play was ridiculously slow. I heard the group ahead of us say that the course had double booked their tee times. We waited on every shot on every hole. The course was in great shape!!
Excellent
No other word to describe it,,,, excellent course, excellent condition. Ideal challenge. Its a scorers course for sure.
Absolute Gem
I met a buddy halfway between Pittsburgh and Canton to play this course. Man this place is worth driving an hour plus. Tee boxes are perfect. Fairways are lush, and the greens are rolling beautifully. I even respect the rough being tough for a public track. I’m jealous of anybody who lives close to Flying Bs.
