About
Grantwood Golf Course is one of the best golf values in the greater Cleveland area. The course sits next to Timberlake Recreation Park, a scenic park with a large fishing lake and picnic areas that are perfect for outdoor gatherings. The layout features small, undulating greens that are protected by more than 40 strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on 10 holes in the form of a meandering creek and several ponds. The golf course is a challenging-but-fair test for players of all skill levels. Beginners and high handicappers won't be intimidated by long forced carries and won't have to worry about losing balls on every hole. Grantwood Golf Course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and the tees are in close proximity, making this a perfect layout for walking.

A few tricky layup holes. Creek comes into play. Very little water.
Good length for seniors from the white tees. Course was a little wet when we played.
Awesome
I pass this course everyday, and finally decided to play it. Was very impressed with the course. This course was in as good as shape as you could want at the end of August. Of the courses I've played this year, it was probably second to the Quarry. Fairways were great, greens were awesome, very consistent. There were a couple bunkers holding a little bit of water. But that is the only slight negative. Would definitely come back again, especially at the $12 we got it for lol.9/10

Challenging Holes
Some of the holes are challenging. Especially a couple of the par 3 threes.
Amusing but confusing
Course was in fine shape, no really unfair holes, greens fast but fair, course layout somewhat confusing with nines criss-crossing under rail tracks. I'll certainly play again now that I am familiar with the layout.
Nothing to brag about
After reading previous reviews I had my hopes up. Though the course was not in bad shape it wasn't impressive either. If you could get this course for under $30 I would say it's worth it but not at $39.
nice course
This course is fun to play. Not easy by any means but not too tough, just fun and every hole is different.
First time but not the last!
This was a very nice course to play. The condition of the course was well maintained and greens were smooth and fast. The best part though was the girl driving the beverage cart was extremely nice and very beautiful! I will definitely go back!
Grantwood
I thought this course was ok. Above average but not great. The course has a few holes that have you driving around quite a bit. Creates confusion if you've never played it. There are markers but you have to really look for them.
A course I will play again !
Very nice layout, holes and directions to tee's clearly marked and easy to follow. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable club house. A good experience and I will play there again.
Improved over last season
Course was in better condition than last season when I played an outing here. Greens were good but did not respond the same as the practice green. A creek comes into play on a fair number of holes, a couple of holes have carries over ponds. GN hot deal makes it a worthwhile endeavor.
Really good shape!
Haven't played here much during the past 2 years. But the course was in very fine shape. Played quick and the greens were very true and consistent!
It was a great day.
We we're overly impressed with the staff at Grantwood. Everybody from the cart attendant to the Player Assistants made us feel welcomed. Larry, the Starter on 1 had a busy day with a full tee sheet from 7 AM to past 11, but was still able to explain the course and give us info about the layout. He made things very enjoyable from the start. The course was in beautiful shape with the greens not lightning quick, but rolling true. We will definitely play there again!

Despite all the rain we have had, the course was in excellent condition. It was well worth the drive from North Ridgeville.

I thought this course was great. Challenging enough to make you think before you shoot and greens were in great shape.
