The course sits next to Timberlake Recreation Park, a scenic park with a large fishing lake and picnic areas that are perfect for outdoor gatherings. Water also comes into play on 10 holes in the form of a meandering creek and several ponds. The golf course is a challenging-but-fair test for players of all skill levels. Course In Good Shape
Despite a crummy Spring weather wise, course was in pretty good shape. Greens were solid. Fairways lush.
Traps...meh.
No Carts
Only complaint we have was that we had to wait for carts to be available. Course was in the middle of exchanging carts for new ones, but there was a shortage of carts on the course. It just would have been nice to have prior warning.
Full price on a Tuesday and half the course was underwater
I cannot believe this course was open yet alone charging full price… They were mowing while we were there and mowers were getting stuck in the fairway. At one point a tractor ran over my ball. I realize that weather has not been optimal, however, the course should have been half price. $52 for a Tuesday when the course is unplayable is outrageous.
Fun, nice course
challenging without being crushing. Course is in great condition - true greens, lush fairways and great tee boxes! I'll be back in the spring, for sure. Loved the special rate for seniors, too!
Aeration
It would be nice if they let you know that they had aerated the greens before you go out there
The course was extremely wet. Greens were mud! Course probably should have been closed that day. We paid for 18 holes but only played 9, we couldn't take it anymore. Golf balls were being lost in the fairway. We've played this Course many times, it's normally a very enjoyable round, not this time.
