About
Grantwood Golf Course is one of the best golf values in the greater Cleveland area. The course sits next to Timberlake Recreation Park, a scenic park with a large fishing lake and picnic areas that are perfect for outdoor gatherings. The layout features small, undulating greens that are protected by more than 40 strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on 10 holes in the form of a meandering creek and several ponds. The golf course is a challenging-but-fair test for players of all skill levels. Beginners and high handicappers won't be intimidated by long forced carries and won't have to worry about losing balls on every hole. Grantwood Golf Course sprawls across gently rolling terrain and the tees are in close proximity, making this a perfect layout for walking.

Great course
Great course very well-maintained. Pace of play was fantastic.
This course is the perfect combination of length and difficulty for mid handicapers like myself. For being a city owned course, it's in great shape and pace of play is decent.
sand traps can use some work. would enhance the value of the course.
Nothing new
Been playing here here on and off for 20 years. Same old clubhouse. Same awful tee boxes. No easy yardage markers to be seen. Bunkers are basically dirt and rocks. Greens and fairways are hard. Spend a few extra dollars and go play Glen Eagles in Twinsburg.

4/5 Quality & Value
Pace was good, some repairs being made through the course and clubhouse to improve which was great. Did mobile check in and paid in the Golf Now App. I’d suggest not doing this, course showed I only paid booking and still owed the greens fees. I showed them my banking app and both payments. They let me play without issue but said this happens every time someone books and pts through golf now. Booking direct is cheaper anyway.
I liked the course. Can't wait to go back. The course was in great shape. The pace of play was good.
Pace of play
The pace of play was ridiculous. There were 4 groups on one hole at one point. Course was good otherwise
Still a nice tract
Hadn't played here in over a decade. It was a beautiful afternoon and the course was mobbed, so pace was slow, but I was on a golf course so it's all good.
Not Happy
I called the day before before I book and asked about carts on path or not. They told me that carts were off paths everywhere but on 2 holes so I booked the course. There was no rain over night and after driving 45 minutes the next day to play this course they tell me at the counter that it is cart path only!! That is not good management! I could have driven 5 minutes from my house and played cart path only. Shame on their management!

Grantwood Golf in November
Grantwood in my opinion has stayed top notch to play for this season!! Fairways were clean the amount of leaves on the course were minimal for the season. The greens were outstanding, and the staff was very friendly and caring.
I would recommend to play here 😀💯

Leaves were mostly removed, sand was wet and not playable greens and fairways good , ball washers removed, bring a wet rag.
