Wyandot Golf & Dining
About
Wyandot Golf & Dining (previously known as Wyandot Golf Course) has a versatile playability that appeals to a variety of players from beginners to more advanced golfers looking to work on their short game. Although it is player-friendly enough for those without much experience, there are plenty of trees along the fairways and sand bunkers bordering the greens that present formidable challenges. Despite having some densely wooded areas, some holes are more open and forgiving towards errant shots. There are also ponds and streams throughout the course that come into play on almost half of the holes. The terrain is mostly flat with only a few mild undulations, making it an enjoyable golf course to walk. The speed on Wyandot's medium-sized greens depends on the season but they are always in good condition.

Rude Staff
Staff was rude and unprofessional. I will never play there again. Course was in terrible shape.
Way below expectations
I didn’t have many expectations going here, it was my first time. I’m aware we’re in a dry spout and in great need of rain but the tee boxes to “fairway” to “rough” were indistinguishable. Thankfully I booked a golf now deal and it was 30$ a piece but I wouldn’t value it any more than 25$. I can’t imagine paying the 45$ afternoon and weekend rates here. Greens were in decent condition but that is all.
Needs some water
Fairways and tee boxes were quite barren of grass. Greens were nice though someone needs to care more about golf course etiquette. Ball marks are not being repaired the greens, pretty sad! Good price point though just not in good condition.
Cow Pasture
This course needs a lot of help. Bare areas- not spots, all over the course. Fairways overgrown and no different than the rest of the grass elsewhere. No amenities on the course. Tree roots sticking out of the ground in the fairways all over. Course not maintained well. Grass needs watering and lots & lots of maintenance. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!!!
Ball Strikers Gem
Honest Review from Out of Towner
This course really fun and creative!!
The course isn’t long but it protects itself very well water in front of greens, trees line the fairways so precision is a must and the Greens are lighting fast! I shot 81 and my best friend who live here shot 101. You have to bounce the ball up because the greens are hard and not receptive to a well struck shot. I like it because you have to be creative with your approach and keep the ball below the hole. Good course for the price
FOR LOCALS ONLY
Every few years, I see a deal for this course on GolfNow that seems too good not to grab (less than $20 for 18 and a cart), and I make the 45 minute drive to play it, hoping that the conditions have improved...and every time, I tell myself that I will never go back. This time was no different. The course is ridiculously easy, so if you live in Centerburg, want to shoot a low round, and don't mind poor course conditions and maddeningly slow play, this is the place for you. If you're an out of towner, spend a few extra bucks and play a better course.
OK, but just OK
The greens were all great, but the fairways were either OK or a mess. The semi-asphalt cart paths were pretty rough.
The course needs some real maintenance, and something needs to be done about the stagnant ponds.
The price with a cart was reasonable. I doubt the owners will be investing in court renewal.
Course staff
Went there with oldest son had two young boys with us, they said we needed tee time, they also said we need 4 people set tee time come back then they were letting 2 people play no tee time, then a single play no tee timethe lady at counter was a bus driver and bigger man was uncomfortably close to her when she needed help, we let people play around us, we were slow trying to teach boys, they tried to call me while on course, didn’t answer so they come on cart to me said we can’t let people play through and we needed to play faster took all fun out of it!!! I am local I would never go there again!!!
Good course for casual player
OK, not a country club. Fairways are a lot like lawn grass. But it’s well maintained, greens are good, lots of variety in the layout, and fun to play. Just enough things to challenge you, as well as some fairly easy holes. Well worth the greens fees. I’ll be back.
Little upkeep and charge like it
This course is about as flat as it gets. I was there on a hot day and I could barely get a ball to hold the green it was so hard. I managed to pass a couple of slow playing groups and things sped up nicely, but I wouldn't bet on it. It's fairly "cheap" to play here, so lots of beginners and people teaching their kids. Come on, people, save that for the range. Help with course management and etiquette, not swing advice. We don't need to wait 3-5 minutes every time for someone to swing and hit a ball 10 feet. The course was busy, but not a ranger in site. I guess courses don't care about pace of play anymore.
All that said, there is fun to be had here. There's some short par 5's that make eagle possible for most decent golfers I think. There's a reachable high risk/low reward par 4 here too.
There greens are terribly beat up with people not fixing their pitch marks. The fairways are hairy. Lots of bald spots around the course. This course should be $25, not $35 with a cart.
